There are multiple “hop on hop off” tours in Berlin. I followed the internet and found one I liked and somhow ended up paying these people. When I showed up for what I thought I had paid for, I had to pay again. Berlin is confusing enough. I did see their bus, but not where I went to start the tour.

Berlin does have several different hop-on hop-off operators, and it seems there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the company or voucher you purchased. However, we sincerely regret the inconvenience this caused and how it affected the start of your experience. Your comments about clarity of booking information and boarding location are very important, and we will share them with our team to help improve communication and avoid similar situations in the future. My friend and I found this extremely low quality. I've been on a number of hop-on hop-off buses aorund the world so came with a background of finding such tours very informative. Very little information was provided despite there being long gaps between sights in which much could have been put forward. The sights themselves were generally inadequately explained and many buildings and areas of historical interest we passed were not mentioned. (I am familiar with Berlin but my friend is not.) We were often told what was inside buildings eg a fast evelator, rather than the history or architectire or cultural significance. There was a fifteen minute break (scheduled) where we just sat by the side of the road (surely, if the break was for driver rest, a fresh driver might have taken over and the tour promptly resumed) and another (unscheduled) soon afterwards, also sitting for some time. The narration contained inane jokes and banter and, during the general delivery, the two characters occasionally interrupted each other so what little information was to be provided, was not. In addition, the characters were, at times, somewhat disparaging of aspects of Berlin. As if all that wasn't bad enough, the time between narrations was filled with jittery 'music' with a few bars on constant repeat. Neither of us will be lining up for this company again.
The tour quality was fine. Overall, we enjoyed it. We found the stopping points to be inconsistent and often found ourselves running to catch the bus before the driver left without us as we were waiting where they dropped us off and that wasn’t where they picked us up. More frequent buses would have been nice. However, the reason for this review is that at 6pm, they stop the bus and kick you off wherever you are, in a strange city, with no means of getting back to where you started. Fortunately, we were staying with family so we could call for a ride and fortunately, we were in a safe part of the city. We could have been stranded.

Have waited nearly an hour for a bus to "hop on" that should be here every 30 minutes. Terrible service will be looking for a total refund.

Had a very rude driver who advised that stop 14 (Train station) would be the last stop on the tour but he then drove from stop 11 to 14 without stopping, turning right and missing out Brandenburg Tor and the Reichstag, both of whom we wanted to see. He refused to accept any responsibility for this and claimed he didn’t know anyone was still onboard, even though there were passengers downstairs and upstairs. Very rude man and this will put me off ever using this company again.

Confusing to find outside of central train station , tourist center was not very friendly , construction around train center made it more difficult , and after 1 hr , the bus driver instructed all of us to get off said bus as his shift was over and he needed to get the bus back to the terminal . Meanwhile we are dropped off in a park , we have no idea wheee we are nor how to get Back to the train station!!! Cmon !!??

These schedules are clearly communicated in advance and available on our official information points and materials. At the end of the operating day, the service must return to the depot, and therefore all remaining passengers may be asked to disembark at the final operational point. We understand this may have caused inconvenience, especially if it coincided with your plans, and we are sorry for any confusion this may have caused. That said, we regret that the information provided on board at the time did not make the situation clearer or offer sufficient guidance to help you return comfortably to the train station or orient yourself in the area where you were dropped off. Payed €20 and thought it was worth it as it’s easy to pick and choose which stops you get off and how much time you spend at each stop with regular bus. Ticket seller called Waji was very helpful and informative.
