La famille de Pat Conroy a déménagé à Beaufort quand il avait 15 ans. Il a adopté Beaufort comme sa maison et Beaufort a adopté Pat comme le nôtre! Joignez-vous à nous pour cette tournée d'une heure et demie de «Pat's Conroy's Beaufort», de sa maison d'enfance à son restaurant favori en passant par Prince of Tides et Great Santini dans les adaptations cinématographiques des romans autobiographiques de Pat.

Notre visite commence au 1006 Bay Street, en face du magasin du navire du centre-ville de Beaufort.
Le père de Pat, le Great Santini, est enterré ici, ainsi que la mère de Pat, Peg. C'est aussi la scène du "survol de l'homme disparu" dans le film "The Great Santini".
À la fin de la visite, vous aurez la possibilité d'être déposé ici. Ouvert du jeudi au dimanche, de midi à 16h.

This experience was really special to me. It was priceless, actually. Pat Conroy is one of my favorite authors and I really felt like I got to know him through the tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable as she had known the author. I also got to meet the author's sister at the Pat Conroy Literary Center which I was not expecting. That's what made it a priceless experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our golf cart tour. Bill was an excellent tour guide providing great information an anecotes. His ability to get us a tour of the Pat Conroy Literary Center when it was closed to the general public was a great surprise. We highly recommend this tour and Bill. We now have a much greater understanding of Pat Conroy the author and the man.
If you love Pat Conroy, you will love this tour. we learned a lot. The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
Very enjoyable tour that lasted about an hour and 15 minutes. Janet was well-versed on all things Pat Conroy! We also heard about the history of the area, and we took a very informative ride through the national cemetery. I would highly recommend this tour.
