Our guide Kei was extremely knowledgeable in explaining Japanese history culture and the city surrounds- exceeded our expectations. I felt honoured to have him as our guide and can’t wait to learn more! Highly recommend
Thank you very much for your review. We are so happy to know that you enjoyed our tour. Japan is a country with a long history, and it's not easy for visitors to fully understand it, but with a good guide, you can understand it much better. We believe that a better understanding of Japanese history will make your stay in Japan more fulfilling. We would be very happy to assist such visitors.
We had a wonderful time. Kei was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and good English. I highly recommend Kei. We saw so many sights. Kei helped us get discounted 3 day tourist subway passes and we are now Tokyo subway travel experts. Warning-this is an 8-hr walking tour! My wife and I had fit bits and we measured over 24,000 steps each, maybe 10 miles, much up and down subway stairs. This is NOT an easy tour but you see a lot in 8 hours! Maybe 4 or 6 hours is appropriate for most travelers…just realistic! Again, many kudos to Kei!
Thank you very much for your review. We are happy to know that you enjoyed the tour. As you said, an 8-hour walking tour might be a bit hard for many people, and 4- or 6-hour tour would be more realistic. However, for those who are confident in their physical stamina and want to fully enjoy Tokyo, we recommend the 8-hour tour.
Nobu san was our guide and we really enjoyed his knowledge as we visited so many sites! Temples. Shrines, Gardens, etc. it was exactly what we wanted for an intro to Tokyo! As much as we enjoyed not staring at Google Maps to navigate, we also loved learning from his insights!
Thank you very much for your review. We are so happy to know that you enjoyed our tour. Tokyo is an attractive city for many tourists. But we think that learning a little about its history and culture will make your stay even more enjoyable. It is a great pleasure for us to help tourists in this way. Nobu
Great trip led by guide. Super flexible to what we wanted to see along with his must see’s. Kei was first class!

We liked the guided tour with our guide Koba san very much! The Communication before the tour via email was easy with fast responses. We meet in time in our hotel. The program is very flexibel and was arranged as per our wishes. Our guide Koba san was very knowledgable, very kind and helpful. We learned a lot about japanese way of life. The schedule of the tour was adapted as per our needs and we made sufficient breaks. Overall a very good experience!
Thank you very much for your review. We are so happy that you enjoyed our tour. Tokyo is a fascinating city, but it's even more fascinating with a good guide. We are always looking to provide our guests with an enjoyable stay in Tokyo. Office Zipang
Thank you so much for the amazing tour of Tokyo! My wife and I had a fantastic time. The itinerary that our guide, Nobu, organized was spot-on for what we were hoping to see, and we really appreciated his help navigating and translating along the way.
Thank you very much for your review. I am so happy to know that you enjoyed my tour. There are still many other attractive places in Tokyo, so please let me show you around the next time you come to Tokyo. I look forward to seeing you again. Nobu
Nobu was the perfect guide for us. With only a single day to explore Tokyo from our cruise ship, we hit all the major sights. Nobu was professional and engaging, providing great insights into Japanese history, religion, current economic conditions and challenges. Fabulous lunch at a local restaurant, and Nobu guided us expertly through the maze of subways connecting the various sights. Truly an amazing day, but for any non-walkers prepare for steps exceeding 25,000.
Thank you very much for your review. I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed my tour. I also appreciate your honest comments. The course on this day was for people with good stamina, so the walking distance was long, but there are also shorter courses available. (The course is customized to suit each guest.) I would be very happy to help visitors to Tokyo enjoy its best features. Nobu
Nobu was flexible with where we wanted to go, very knowledgeable, and spoke good English. He made recommendations that we appreciated and taught us how to use the subway system throughout the day.
Thank you very much for your review. I'm very happy to know that you enjoyed my tour. It is always a great pleasure for me to make your stay in Tokyo more enjoyable. Thank you again for having me as a guide. Nobu
Having not been to Japan before, we signed up for this tour in hopes of seeing some Tokyo highlights and to get familiar with the public transportation system. While we accomplished those goals, our guide Nabu Sato was amazing and painted a picture of Tokyo and Japan that took our breath away. His command of Japanese history, sociology and economics combined with his willingness to offer his opinions gave us insights into Japan and its people that we would never have gotten on other “bus type” tours. We are walkers/hikers so the miles we walked were not problematic for us, but I am sure Mr. Sato tailors each trip for his client’s interest and abilities. Over the next two days we have traveled all over Tokyo with Suica card in hand, confident and ready to move on to Kyoto!
Thank you very much for your review. I'm very happy to know that you fully enjoyed my tour. Tokyo is a city full of charm, but it's sometimes not an easy place for first-time visitors. I believe that if you spend your first day with a guide like me, you will be able to travel more efficiently and learn a lot. It is my great pleasure to make such visitors' stay in Tokyo even more enjoyable. Thank you again for having me as a guide. Nobu
We got to visit many parts of Tokyo at a very quick pace but it didn't feel rushed. Our guide was amazing and made the tour very memorable. Would highly recommend!
Thank you very much for your review. We are glad to know that you enjoyed the tour. Since we provide private tours, we always try to proceed with each guests' pace. Office Zipang
