We had a brilliant time with Tone! We got our fill of delicious food while learning about the culture and food of venice, and seeing venice! We really had a brilliant time and he gave us great recommendations for the rest of our time in the city! Truly worth the money and a brilliant way to spend a few hours! We left full and happy!
Our guide Ana was friendly and funny. She taught us about the authentic cichetti and ombré of Venice. We learned as we walked and tasted the delights of this region of northern Italy.
What a great tour we had with Denys this morning. His knowledge for the places we walked and delicious food we sampled was first rate. He took us through the San Polo section which is less crowded and made for an enjoyable walk.
Excellent tour!! Ana was a fabulous tour guide and she set a comfortable pace for the entire tour. At each cichetteria we had the options of a variety of local foods to suit the palate of everyone in the group. Each place had a specialty and it was a delicious introduction to the food and culture around this type of street food with the option to purchase ombré (small glasses of house wine) - simply perfect! I left wanting to explore more and more. I highly recommend this tour at the start of your time in Venice!
Ana was truly the most wonderful, charismatic, and knowledgeable guide to have taken us on this incredible cicchietti tour. Would not have really understood the cultural significance specific to Venice if not for this tour and Ana! Grazie mille!
We had a great food tour with Denys. He was knowledgeable and told us a lot of history about Venice. He took us to many tasty food places. Several people in our party did not like seafood and he provided alternative options at each venue. It was a fun time!
Tony was a phenomenal food guide. He taught us a lot about the Venetian food culture, and took us to places with a good variety of food options and good size portions. We left the food tour well fed, and even bypassed dinner since it was so satisfying. Thank you Tony for showing us the culture of this beautiful city and introducing us to some amazing foods.
This food tour was lovely! Ana was out guide and she did a great job explaining the different stops and what we would eat and experience. I loved that we went to local family run establishments and Ana introduced us to the owners and various family members that were working that day. The food was very interesting and tasty and probably not what I would have chosen had I been on my own. So, it did the job in introducing me to the amazing flavours of Venice.
Denys did a great job showing us the food of Venice. I am not a fan of the local seafood but many others were and after one stop, there we had many other options. The pastries and gelato were my favorite
Excellent food. Great value for the money. Got to try a number of quite tasty “cicchetti” in some authentic settings.
