Cette structure a été construite sous la direction de Sir Edwin Lutyens. 12h30 - Maison du président Conduit par la résidence officielle du président de l'Inde, le bâtiment est une autre attraction principale de New Delhi. Il est resté la maison de l'ancien vice-roi britannique des Indes jusqu'en 1950. Cette magnifique structure est le plus bel exemple d'architecture indo-britannique qui a attiré l'attention de milliers de touristes du monde entier. 12h45 - Parlement Admirez le bâtiment circulaire à colonnades qui abrite des bureaux ministériels, de nombreuses salles de commission et une excellente bibliothèque. Conçu dans le style impérial, le Parlement consiste en une véranda ouverte de 144 colonnes. 13h15 - Pause déjeuner dans un restaurant local (à vos frais) 14h30 - Tombe de Humayun (site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO) Explorez la tombe qui est un des premiers exemples de l'architecture moghole. Ce tombeau présente un grand intérêt pour le Taj Mahal. Le bâtiment trapu est éclairé par de hautes entrées cintrées, surmonté d'un immense dôme et entouré de jardins à la française. 16h - Explorez le marché local Allez au marché local pour faire du shopping, comme Jewellery, Handicraft, un centre artistique de boutiques, cafés et galeries. 17h - Cérémonie Aarti en soirée au temple de Birla Voir le temple de Birla, également connu sous le nom de Laxmi Narayan Mandir, l'un des temples les plus importants de Delhi. Ce temple est dédié à Laxmi (la déesse de la prospérité) et à Narayana (le conservateur). Really wonderful guide who was knowledgeable and spoke great English. The driver was very sweet, safe, accommodating and quick. The owner of the company was very kind to reschedule my journey twice, as the first time there was a mixup, and the second time I was very ill, and he was extremely helpful in being flexible with the schedule. He even brought a very sweet gift to me during our lunch midday of the tour. Very unexpected and a nice touch. I even hired the driver for later in the day to take me back to my hotel, to a dinner, and then later to the airport. All at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend these people, they were amazing!
