Visite d'une plantation de café à Medellín avec vue panoramique en téléphérique
Description
Il s'agit d'une visite organisée d'une exploitation caféière familiale située en zone urbaine, non loin du centre-ville, où vous découvrirez le processus de transformation du café, de la graine à la tasse. Nous allons boire beaucoup de café et découvrir tout le processus de transformation. La visite débutera à la station de métro San Antonio. De là, nous prendrons le tramway pendant 20 minutes jusqu'à la station Oriente, où nous embarquerons à bord d'un téléphérique pour un trajet de 15 minutes offrant une vue panoramique sur la ville. Nous arriverons ensuite dans le quartier de La Sierra, situé dans la commune 8. Une marche de 20 minutes, incluant la montée de quelques escaliers, nous mènera à la ferme, située dans un quartier populaire. Sur place, nous découvrirons l'histoire et la culture de cette communauté. Enfin, nous rejoindrons la ferme où une famille de producteurs de café nous accueillera et partagera avec nous son histoire, en nous expliquant en détail toutes les étapes de la production.

Nous monterons à bord du téléphérique pour atteindre la ferme de café où nous aurons une vue panoramique sur la ville de Medellin.
Nous monterons à bord du tramway Ayacucho pour nous rendre à la commune 8, pendant le trajet le guide vous expliquera l'histoire de la zone traversée par le tramway.
Nous arriverons au quartier de La Sierra situé dans la commune 8 où nous ferons une promenade au cours de laquelle l'histoire et la transformation de cette zone seront expliquées. Pendant notre marche, nous visiterons des points de vue où nous verrons une vue splendide sur la ville de. Medellin depuis la partie centre-est et nous apprécierons les peintures murales et leur histoire
Nous arriverons à la Casa Finca dans le Barrio la Sierra où la famille des producteurs de café vous attendra, ici vous serez accueilli, vous recevrez la première tasse de café et la famille vous racontera l'histoire de la vie et comment elle a commencé avec le sujet. des cultures de café, pour ensuite leur prêter le costume typique de la région pour se rendre dans les plantations de café et récolter les baies de café rouge et leur apprendre de manière pratique tous les processus de fabrication d'un bon café, depuis la façon dont il est planté, récolté, fermenté. , séché et torréfié.

This was an excelllent half day tour! Melissa was very sweet and knowledgeable, and she took extra time to repeat every detail in both English and Spanish. In my group there was a mix of coffee lovers and non-coffee lovers; athletes and non-athletes. The tour was interesting, safe and enjoyable enough for everyone. Hopefully my starbucks-dark-roast-drinking family saw the light in locally sourced, gently roasted coffee. I certainly did!
I loved everything about this tour. Annie was amazing! This tour felt relaxed, educational, interactive and peaceful. I am happy to have this experience and its all thanks to the team.
This checked off so many things we wanted to do in one tour! We got to do coffee, ride the local train, ride the sky cart tram thing, and safely walk through a local town and hear about the history of it. We didn't realize that our group as a whole wanted to experience a local town outside of the city. This was perfect because we weren't aimlessly meandering the town, we had to get from point A to B but we did it casually and it wasn't too much or too little "talking" and "instruction". We walked past everyday life happening as the church let out, we saw families doing their normal routines, and we got to feel the surrealness as we picked coffee beans on the side of a gorgeous, quiet, breezy mountain. All while dressed and geared up as true colombians. It hits the soul! Book it!
This was my favorite tour in Medellin. It was informative, the group size was not too big, the coffee was great, and it supported the local community.
My tour guide was Anna. She was very professional, and knowledgeable. I learned so much about coffee I do not drink, but serve to the public. I get to return home with this wonderful information. Thanks for making it interesting.
Really such a great experience! Melissa, the tour guide, was incredible… and Somehow seeing how coffee is really made makes it taste better🤷🏼♀️ do the afternoon visit and spend some time browsing around the San Antonio park and station before rush hour!
It was better than l could have asked for. Appreciated the metro and the gondola ride and the tour of the neighborhood in Communa 8. Then the coffee picking and explanation by Rosa was nothing short of amazing. Thanks for the terrific day. Worth every penny.
We were a small group of 4 people. It felt personalized, and the explanations about places, processes, and stories were very good. It was a very connecting experience with history, and it felt very familiar.

We had so much fun on this experince. Our guide Melisa was a dream. It felt more like we were spending time with an old friend than a tour guide. She was on time and made sure everyone was comfortable every step of the way. She was very knowledgeable, funny and over just a fun time. She kept us laughing and did an amazing job educating us on this history of the area and the coffee making process. The people at the coffee farm treated us with so much warmth it felt like being amongst family. I would highly recommend this tour. It is beautiful, well rounded and we ended up meeting some of the nicest people we have interacted with since coming to Medellin.
