Explorez deux des joyaux remarquables de la Jordanie: la superbe merveille mondiale de Petra et le magnifique paysage désertique de Wadi Rum. Rendez-vous à Petra, un site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO à couper le souffle célèbre pour ses ruines magnifiquement sculptées qui éblouissent dans des teintes vibrantes de grès rouge, blanc et rose. Cet endroit incroyable a été fondé vers le VIe siècle avant J.-C. par les Nabatéens, une tribu nomade qui a fait de cette région enchanteresse leur foyer. Vous allez adorer explorer des attractions comme Al-Siq, le Trésor, la rue des Façades, les tombeaux royaux et le château du Pharaon – tout cela n'attend que vous à découvrir! Plus tard dans la journée, dirigez-vous vers le Wadi Rum, bien nommé la Vallée de la Lune. Cette zone protégée est célèbre pour sa nature sauvage désertique à couper le souffle, avec d'imposantes montagnes de grès et de granit qui s'élèvent spectaculairement du paysage. Terminez votre voyage en retournant à Amman, où vous pourrez contempler le ciel étoilé au-dessus des paysages désertiques enchanteurs de la Jordanie.

Itinéraire
Vivez une excursion d'une journée à Petra au départ d'Amman. Votre chauffeur viendra vous chercher à votre hôtel à Amman et commencera ensuite le trajet vers le site de Petra. Notre chauffeur anglophone vous emmènera le long de l'autoroute du désert jusqu'à Petra. Le trajet jusqu'à Petra ne durera pas moins de trois heures, en fonction de l'état des routes, et comprendra un arrêt prévu le long du parcours.
En arrivant au centre d'accueil à Petra, votre chauffeur vous aidera à acheter des billets. Si vous souhaitez en savoir plus sur l'architecture et l'histoire de la région, un guide local peut être organisé pour vous. (Facultatif)
Ce site extraordinaire classé au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO figure parmi les trésors les plus précieux de Jordanie. Commencez votre exploration en marchant à travers le passage étroit et à couper le souffle connu sous le nom d'Al-Siq, qui sert d'entrée principale à l'ancienne ville de Petra. À votre arrivée, admirez le magnifique trésor d'Al-Khazneh, un édifice remarquable creusé dans la paroi rocheuse de la montagne, agrémenté de superbes chapiteaux corinthiens, de frises et de sculptures. Après une pause déjeuner (facultatif) à Pétra, continuez votre voyage vers d'autres lieux renommés, tels que le monastère, l'autel du sacrifice, la rue des façades, les tombeaux royaux et le théâtre romain.
À la fin de la visite, vous vous réunirez avec votre chauffeur au même endroit où vous avez été déposé (Centre des visiteurs). Par la suite, vous préparerez le voyage vers Wadi Rum, qui devrait durer environ deux heures.
Arrivé sur place, votre véhicule de safari 4x4 sera prêt pour l'aventure de 2 heures, accompagné d'un chauffeur de safari local tout au long de la balade. Découvrez des monuments tels que le temple nabatéen, la carte du Wadi Rum, le petit pont et la dune de sable rouge. Vous aurez également la possibilité de faire une promenade à dos de chameau dans le désert (à vos frais). Visitez un camp bédouin où vous pourrez déguster du thé ou du café arabe tout en échangeant avec les habitants. Terminez votre expérience en assistant à un superbe coucher de soleil sur les plaines désertiques lisses.
Une fois la visite terminée, le chauffeur vous ramènera à Amman ou à l'aéroport international d'Amman.

Absolutely wonderful tour visiting Petra and Wadi Rum with Khalid Najjar. First of all, we can not thank him enough for his kindness and hospitality––ensuring that we were comfortable and happy with our tour. He made a few extra special stops with gorgeous views of Wadi Mousa (Petra). He was an amazing tour guide and ensured our safety with each stretch of drive. I will absolute be looking for him upon my return to Jordan with more family members. Our trip also included the 4x4 open-back truck ride across Wadi Rum, an amazing private guide at Petra, and an absolutely delicious lunch with Khalid where we feasted on Mansaf and Knafeh (the Knafeh was a special treat for my mother's celebration of her birthday). Abed the driver was great - very smooth trip and was very comfortable. Great tour guides in Petra and Wadi rum … tickets and booking was not very clear as it said when we booked that all entries were included (as we booked the all inclusive one which was $955 aus for the 2 of us) yet we were told wadi rum entry was not included, so our driver very kindly still got us the entry tickets as we had thought they were apart of the tour. Also lunch was not included which we were slightly surprised due to the price of the tour, but altogether very much still enjoyed our time and seeing these incredible places.

It was a wonderful way to begin discovering Jordan with this tour. Petra was truly spectacular, offering many beautiful spots beyond the famous wonder itself. The trip in Wadi Rum was great, though somewhat repetitive — the scenery was stunning but largely similar throughout. Our driver, Adnan, was excellent: very friendly, engaging, and talkative

From the moment we were picked up at the hotel, everything was perfectly organized. Our driver, Bardaghawi, was punctual, friendly and made our trip very comfortable. The guides who accompanied us at Petra and Wadi Rum were exceptional: attentive, knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions or help us make the most of the experience. Petra is impressive, but touring Wadi Rum in 4x4 was the perfect day’s golden pin. Petra was an amazing experience! Everything is so mesmerising, a must visit in Jordan. Wadi Rum was a beautiful adventure in the desert finished with a beautiful sunset. Our driver, Younis was very good too. Highly recommended tour.
