This was a very long tour on foot and unless you have great walking shoes don’t go. I learned a lot on this tour and am sad that it’s over.
Yesterday, my wife and I had an all day private tour of Tokoyo and our guide was Firas Halioui. I can’t say enough positive things about him. He was on time and totally altered the days activities to my limited mobility. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything in Tokyo and went out of his way to ensure that we saw all the sites, tasted common food, and enjoyed ourselves. I can think of absolutely no criticism about our tour or him. We have traveled extensively throughout the world and he was definitely one of the best guides we have ever encountered. Thank you Firas.
Thank you so much for this incredible review — it truly means a lot to us. We’re so happy to hear that you and your wife had such a great experience with Firas. Knowing that he adapted the day to your mobility needs and made sure you were comfortable while still enjoying everything Tokyo has to offer is exactly what we strive for.
Leon was our guide and what a rad dude. He met our group at Asakusa cultural center and took us on a whirlwind day tour of Tokyo that started off our trip to Japan in the most epic way. Leon was very knowledgeable and gave us good tips; he even recommended restaurants near taito where we were staying. It was a rainy day but Leon kept us on track and engaged. We definitely recommend this tour to everyone. He checks in before the tour, is an excellent guide, and gave fantastic recommendations.
Amir is amazing! If you ever show up to a tour and you’re thrown off by the fact that the tour guide is not a local, not from this country, give the person a chance! Amir, originally from France, was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the locations on our tour. We were so impressed and so glad he was our tour guide. He clearly loves Japan and has learned so much in his five years living here. He gave us all types of recommendations for things to do later. He was fantastic at taking photos and prompted us over and over to make sure that we got the best pictures. He was patient, gave us choices on where to go. We were a small group of four people and Amir. He let us through the subways, streets, always making sure he didn’t lose anyone. Clearly hospitality is something he is naturally good at. We highly recommend him, I suggest you ask for Amir
Our guide Amir showed us the essential areas of Tokyo with interesting insides into Japanese life and culture. He was well prepared and has a deep knowledge of Tokyo. Thank you Amir!
Wear good walking shoes and bring cash! Flor was amazing and did awesome telling us the history of the shrines we visited. Would highly suggest booking with her for a private tour!!
Hiro was an excellent tour guide, taking care of us from beginning to end. He provided excellent commentary about the sites visited. He took excellent care of our needs and answered all our questions. He is one of the best tour guides that we have ever used.
a great day spent woth our guide. he had a whole lot to share about Tokyo and showed us places we would have never gone to. Higly recommend.
Our tour guide Steven was great. Full of information and energy. Bring your best shoes. Lots of steps pushed these Old Timers to the limit.
