Visite guidée du château de Chenonceau
Temps libre pour découvrir la ville Royale d'Amboise, considérée comme l'ancienne Capitale du Val de Loire. Déjeuner libre dans ce lieu.
Vous découvrirez le Pavillon de chasse construit par le roi François Ier, c'est le plus grand château et l'œuvre architecturale la plus spectaculaire. Vous serez impressionné par ses 426 pièces et ses 282 foyers. Votre guide vous montrera et vous expliquera son époustouflant escalier à double hélice, probablement une création de Léonard de Vinci. La forêt dans laquelle il se trouve est une réserve nationale de chasse.

It was Amazing! I have always wanted to see these 2 chateaux. Our guide was so knowledgable about so many things and she was so friendly and personable.
Fabulous tour with a great and knowledgeable guide. Both chateaux were incredible, but Chambord was absolutely amazing. I chose this tour because it had the free time lunch stop in Amboise, which gave me plenty of time to visit the chateau there and see Leonardo da Vinci’s burial site. It was a perfect day.

Wonderful tour with Leticia! Both Chateu were amazing for their own reasons; Chenenceau for it's gardens and span across the river and then Chambord for it's architecture and historical significance with the monarchy.

On a rainy and cool day our small group visit was entertaining and informative.Wandering through the back gardens(vegetable,flowers for the Chateaux) recreated as they would have been in the heyday was just as interesting as the history and grandeur inside.We swapped time in Amboise for having a wine tour at the Caves Ambacia,which was a highlight.

This is a full day seeing Chenonceau and Chambord chateaux, with just under 2 hours in Amboise where you can visit the chateau there, have lunch and/or shop. Our guide Geraldine gave us excellent tours in the two chateaux, leveraging her history degree and interest in the renaissance period, along with being an insider, having grown up in one of the chateau towns. Although it would seem like 9 hours is a lot of time, the day flew by leaving us wanting more! We learned a lot about the progression of royals in France, and important historical moments in which the chateaux played parts. This tour helped us place the chateaux in the context of history, art and politics.

This was a very good way to see the chateau. There is a considerable amount of walking. And bring a bottle of water. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history and the area.

If you are looking for an engaging and entertaining day at the most beautiful chateaus, this is it! Audrey was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the history of each chateau to life with great humor! The itinerary was thoughtful--we weren't rushed thru, didn't spend too much time in any one space and had a good amount of free time in each location. Highly recommended!!
