J.-C., que Mentuhotep II, le fondateur de l'Empire du Milieu, a aménagé son temple mortuaire en pente en forme de terrasse.
La Vallée des Reines est un site en Égypte, où les épouses des pharaons étaient enterrées dans les temps anciens. Il était alors connu sous le nom de Ta-Set-Neferu, signifiant "le lieu de la beauté". I travel a lot and and I love history. In my first time in Egypt I needed tours that would allowed me to learn as much as possible in a digestible way. This is exactly what I got in this tour. Amira gave me the depth I wanted while exploring the West side of Luxor. She was able to give me enough details about the temples and tombs to make me feel knowledgeable about ancient Egypt afterlife traditions. Amira is very experienced with more than 26 years as a guide and she is able to dispense her expertise at the right amount. The tour took about seven hours, including lunch. We covered multiple temples, the valley of the kings, the valley of the queens and the city of the artisans, with a brief stop by the Colossi. The pace was comfortable and conducive to a lot of Q&A interactions. This is a tour for people who want to go beyond the highlights and I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience with our guide Mena. He was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us around each site whilst giving us some time to explore on our own. We had lunch included which was very nice and huge portions

Emad was THE best tour guide I’ve ever had. I’ve experienced quite amount of tour guides, and his explanation was so easy to understand, it was more of a story telling. He was also very knowledgeable but didn’t over explain with overwhelming information. People have different interests part of the history and he is able to adapt the information and answering the questions. Also the driver Tamer was very attentive and very kind. We explored the West Bank of Luxor today with Mena, who was absolutely brilliant and so knowledgeable. There’s so much to see and while we really enjoyed the main sites, he also brought us to a few less travelled tombs and temples, including the most unbelievable local lunch. It was very hot but he continued to supply us with water and AC in between stops. 10/10 would recommend him if you’re in need of a local Luxor guide!

My guide Amira was great. I modified the itinerary and added a few tombs and she was very accommodating. She was knowledgeable and provided detailed information at each site. She gave plenty of time to explore and was not rushing me. The driver was also professional and punctual. So I highly recommend them.

The driver was fine. Our guide spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable about all of the sites. The only issue was when they brought us to the alabaster shop. As a private tour, I didn’t expect to be brought to the sales pitch where also the large tour bus groups where. It was very uncomfortable. I expected better with a private tour.
