Prise en charge à 8h de votre hôtel / aéroport de Jaipur et commencez d'abord la visite, vous visiterez le Hawa Mahal, un autre monument de Rajput également connu sous le nom de Palais des vents, pour plus de photos. Le Hawa Mahal de cinq étages a été construit en 1799A.D. le long de la rue principale de la vieille ville. C'est un chef-d'œuvre de grès rose avec des fenêtres semi-octogonales et délicatement alvéolées.
Ensuite, visite du Fort d'Amber. Le Fort d'Amber est situé sur une crête juste à l'extérieur de la ville de Jaipur et se reflète magnifiquement dans le lac ci-dessous. À l'intérieur du fort, vous rencontrerez le temple Jai Mandir de renommée mondiale avec son éblouissante galerie de miroirs Sheesh Mahal. Les murs et le plafond du Mahal sont recouverts d'une belle gamme de miroirs, qui reflètent toute trace de lumière, illuminant toute la pièce.
Continuez la visite en faisant un arrêt photo à Jal Mahal vers 11h. Ce "Water Palace" de style Rajput se trouve au centre du lac Man Sarobar. Le lac est souvent sec pendant l'été, mais les moussons d'hiver le transforment souvent en un magnifique lac rempli de jacinthes d'eau.
Vous visiterez le City Palace qui est situé au coeur de la vieille ville. Une fois la résidence royale du roi de Jaipur, le palais a été construit en utilisant un mélange de styles rajasthani et moghol. Entrez dans l'observatoire de Jaipur, un site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO qui est le plus important, le plus complet et le mieux préservé des observatoires historiques de l'Inde.
Plus tard dans la journée, profitez d'un après-midi de shopping à Jaipur. Vous rencontrerez certains des articles les plus populaires tels que les pierres précieuses, les bijoux en argent, les bracelets, les vêtements, les textiles de poterie bleue et bien plus encore.

Ashok was an excellent tour guide who should be commended for a job very well done. He was very nice and his commentary was exceptional. His pickup and drop off timing was spot on punctual. Most appreciated is the time he took to share his historical knowledge of all the sites we visited. Amber Fort and the City Palace and Hawa Mahal were highlights for me. The tour left me both with the feeling that I fully experienced the sights of Jaipur while at the same time making want to see more. Apart from the gem that is Jaipur, our tour guide Ashok is the cause for this. His solid understanding of the history as well as current affairs in India impressed me, but what stood out for me was his blissful personality and positive attitude. He is a master of many things: In addition to being a tour guide, he studied law, is also a Yoga teacher, a French teacher and can read your palm. He offered to read all of our palms - we were 13 - and left us astounded by the accuracy of his reading. That aside, his jokes and banter made the trip very enjoyable. My personal highlights were a trip to a carpet manufacturer where we could see how hand woven carpets are made and a visit to a secret location in the city that blew all of us away. There were no other tourists there and it proved to be a great way to end our day. All in all, I am thankful that Ashok made my short trip to Jaipur so memorable.

Ashok, our incredible tour guide, took us to all the major sites in Jaipur while offering super insightful comments on the history and interesting factoides of the locations we visited. He would always take care of us (giving tips on bartering, suggestions of what to buy where, etc.) and make the transit to the different sites extremely fun with his witty jokes. He ended the tour with a surprise landmark that had literally no other tourists which served as a great way to end the tour. He was extremely accommodating and kind, and I can decisively say that he is the best tour guide I have ever had.
