I was travelling with two seniors. This agency is located right outside the port, but there is a healthy walk to the bus which was misleading. When we got to Olympia, they stopped at a cafe and gave unclear instructions. They stopped at a cafe for a bathroom break. 2 toilets and a busload of people. A man cane in to tell us the tour was leaving (not the guide Sabrina), so we thought it was another tour. Rather than wait to make sure the whole group arrived, the guides left. We had to ask locals for directions to the museum and site along the way. We did not see the guides again until it was at the meeting point and time for the bus to leave. We have had two other tours in Greece that were excellent. I would find an alternative to this company in Katakolon and Olympia.
Lot of fun. Kids had a great time. Way better than expected. We would recommend!!!
Wonderful experience! The building was easy to find and close to port. We were early and they managed to get us on an earlier than scheduled bus. Our guide was very knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating and provided some lovely information on the 30 minute bus ride there. They also provided a helpful map from the town to the two museums and the archaeological site. We were welcome to follow the guide or walk on our own (we went on our own) and met up at the cafe in town for the ride back to the port. We really enjoyed this excursion!
We had the best tour guide, Sabrina, who was super sweet and gave us all kinds of great information about Katakolo and Olympia. Well worth the visit and we loved the charming town of Olympia. If you go, you must stop at the Cafe Olympia and get a gyro - best we have ever had!!!❤️🤤
They had a good bus, it was timely, they were fully focused on getting you to the destination and back. They did their best to make sure everyone was on the bus before leaving.
They talked to us on the drive over. We did not expect that, thought it was just a shuttle. She even guided us a little there. We combined with the VR headsets. That added a nice touch in the ruins.
This is a ride to Olympia and guide to the site. Visit the site and museum on your own. We had time for lunch and shopping on the main street while waiting for the return bus. It was a great day! Only issue was tour company didn't have us on their list, but they accepted our Viator confirmation. Also, directions from pier brought us across the street from meeting point. Signage on building could be better.
Everything went very well and the price was reasonable. Our plan was to buy the ticket to Olympia directly at the ticket office, and it was really easy to do so, with a small line (June 10, 2026). The ticket also included a visit to the Olympia museum and cost around 20 euros per person. The ruins of Olympia and the museum are located in the same place, and to access the ruins, you first go through the museum. They picked us up from the port of Katakolon, and it was easy to find them at the location they indicated. Additionally, we had a guide who taught us some things along the way. The bus dropped us off and picked us up in the town of Olympia, and from there, you have to walk a few blocks to the museum and archaeological park. Both the pickup and the return were at the correct times and without any issues. The time they gave us was sufficient to see both the museum and the ruins. The place is worth it; it is very beautiful, and the museum exceeded my expectations by far. I highly recommend staying hydrated as the summer sun can be exhausting.
Fantastic experience overall. The pick-up spot was right next to Terminal, getting there was effortless. The bus was comfortable, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the Olympian visit. George’s commentary on the way was engaging and very informative. Everything—from pick-up to drop-off—was smooth, punctual, and well coordinated. Highly recommended.
The bus to Olympia was easy to get on and off. The guides were very friendly. It was a good amount of time to see everything and still have lunch in town.
