Le parc Lumpini est un havre de paix, d’air frais et d’ombre situé dans le centre-ville et offre aux citadins un lien parfait avec la nature. Nommé d'après le lieu de naissance du Seigneur Bouddha au Népal, le parc s'étend sur plus d'un demi-million de mètres carrés et abrite une faune et une flore variées. Historiquement, il remonte aux années 1920 et devait devenir un centre d’exposition pour l’artisanat thaïlandais et les expositions de fleurs. Bien que cette vision originale n’ait jamais été réalisée, le parc Lumpini est devenu au fil des années un centre attrayant pour les loisirs en plein air, pour les Bangkokiens, qui se réunissaient avant et après le coucher du soleil pour profiter d’une ronde de jogging, de séances d’entraînement aérobique et de nombreuses Activités.
Le centre de conventions national Queen Sirikit, également appelé simplement centre de conventions Queen Sirikit, est un centre de conventions et une salle d'exposition à Bangkok, en Thaïlande. Le centre est considéré comme un bien public selon le département du Trésor du ministère des Finances thaïlandais. Cependant, il a été géré par CNC Management & Development Co., Ltd., une société privée, depuis son ouverture en 1991. Le QSNCC a été construit pour accueillir des événements, notamment des conférences et des expositions, et a accueilli de nombreux événements internationaux. Le QSNCC abrite également la salle plénière, une salle de style théâtre pouvant accueillir 6 000 personnes.

L’un des secrets les mieux gardés de Bangkok est le Khlong Toey Fresh Market, un marché alimentaire chaotique et tentaculaire. C’est un rêve de photographe de voyage, rempli de vendeurs du marché proposant des produits vivants, des fruits et légumes frais et des plats cuisinés locaux. Ouverture des yeux et passionnant, c’est un excellent aperçu de la vie des locaux et de la véritable origine de votre moo manow.
Le parc Benjakiti, l'un des parcs les plus populaires de Bangkok, est un écrin de verdure parmi les hôtels de grande hauteur et les immeubles de bureaux de Sukhumvit. Il constitue un refuge pour les joggeurs, les cyclistes et tous ceux qui ont besoin de s'évader de la grande ville. Le parc est dominé par un lac assez grand et les deux voies séparées autour du périmètre ont été conçues spécifiquement pour le cyclisme et le jogging séparés (ce qui pour beaucoup ressemble plus à la marche grâce à la chaleur continue du soir). Le bord de l’eau est également joliment encadré par une jolie végétation bien entretenue et des fleurs colorées qui ajoutent à la tranquillité.

B was a great guide helping us navigate the traffic, roads and paths and telling us about where we were and sharing Thai customs and traditions and some of his story. Pace is quite slow as you walk around a market and stop in the parks and a local temple (more of a complete community centre) and in the poorer parts, but that’s fine as you can see more of what is happening in the real Thailand. Lunch was good but the restaurant we used had a lot of cats(not great for us)

It was a real pleasure to discover Bangkok, this wonderful city with a small 20km bike tour. Alexander is an extraordinary guide with a lot of humor. We laughed a lot. We also stopped by to try Thai boxing. Unfortunately, Alexander won. The lunch break was very simple but of impeccable quality in such a clean place. Enjoy discovering this wonderful city by bike while doing a little sport is not bad.

The tour guide was really nice and informative. The low rating here is for the bait and switch that this bike tour company pulled on us. I specifically booked this bike tour to see the Benjakitti Park and Lumpini park, among the other locations listed in the itinerary. We didn’t see any of the location listed on the itinerary. It was a complete disappointment. I would not recommend this tour company or this tour based on false advertising.

We had a truly exceptional experience on this cycle tour around the city. The tour guide was brilliant and really such a great guy. The pace was good and there were stops at good intervals. We saw parts of Bangkok that we wouldn’t have otherwise seen or experienced. Really grateful to have done this.

At Thailand Biking we made a half day tour through Bangkok. We were received very hospitably by André and his wonderful team. Before departure we got a good explanation about the traffic in Thailand and what we could expect from the tour. We cycled on busy roads and through a slum, stopped at a temple, went over a market with our bikes in hand and drove through a park. The conclusion with a delicious lunch was top. A great experience to discover Bangkok in this way.

We did a 3 hour bike ride through Thailand. Super fun and also impressive. Through back streets and past rickety huts we were taken by the Guide. You see Bangkok from a whole different side. Along the way you will get a bottle of water a number of times so you will be well taken care of. The Guide is enthusiastic and knows a lot about the places where we stop

Nice varied tour, straight through Bangkok, cycling through the market, through Lumpini Park, a nice Thai lunch, on a smoothly cycling bike, and a very good guide. Highly recommended !

I think it's the best way to explore Bangkok (half day ride only) from a local's perspective and on a bicycle. We rode through the morning rush hour with street vendors selling breakfast along the pedestrian walkway, visit a local buddhist temple, in between squatter homes and villages. Unconventional local spots and parks where tourists would not know where to go. Drinks and lunch is included in the package and we rode at our own pace. Recommended 100%.
