While the only waterfalls you will see are the one’s by the road, I think the activity is still worth it, if you don’t want to drive all the way along BlueRidge Pkwy. You will get to relax with a great guide and really enjoy the whole experience and all the sights along the way. We went to Rainbow Falls on our own and spent 3 hours on just the to and fro hike. So i understand why they have to show only the falls easily accessible- there are not many of those. Overall I recommend this activity. The guide Rich was wonderful. So was his cohort Emily.
I was a sponsor for a group of high school seniors from Missouri on their senior trip. They really wanted to see the mountains and waterfalls. Since I didn't want to try to drive and find places myself, I called last minute to see if they had anything for a group of 14. Chris set up an amazing, customized tour for us! We got to see and play in waterfalls and go to the top of the Devil's Courthouse. He talked and interacted with all of the students and wanted to be sure they were having a good time. They had a blast! Thank you!
The tour was awesome and Rich was an excellent tour guide. So much passion in his work. Enjoyed meeting his dog Meatball too!
Great tour of the beautiful waterfalls!!!! Rich and Meatball were excellent guides, very knowledgeable! Highly recommend
What an awesome tour. Had the best time with Rich and co-pilot Meatball. Highly recommend this tour.
This was so fun. The guide was knowledgeable and informative, his dog meatball was a joy to play with and he stops and some gorgeous waterfalls. A must do.
Pack a snack because this is a thorough tour, lasting around 3 hours. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The staff was knowledgeable and kind. Best for families, couples or even solo. We brought our small puppy and they were more than accommodating. The admission is totally reasonable. Overall great experience, we would do again.
What a great time. We booked this for my Wife's birthday because she loves waterfalls and she was definitely happy. Our guide, Rich and his partner Meatball were the best. We felt like long time friends within the first few minutes. It's was 25 degrees outside and we were nice and warm in the back of the jeep. We visited several waterfalls. Got out to explore at some on foot. We even got to walk behind one. His knowledge of the area was great. To get an idea of the trip check out his YouTube channel "The overland report". If you are in the area and looking for some great fun exploring nature book him!
Rich provides a relaxed, informative tour. The time flew by! Meatball came along too and was a wonderful sidekick
We took a tour today with Rich and his sweet dog Meatball! We had an amazing time! Rich was very knowledgeable about the area. He even went out of his way to take us somewhere that we really wanted to see! We saw many waterfalls and the mountains/valley! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone! He needs a raise! :)
