1. Tissage de tapis de carex : le chemin du village nous mène à la maison d'une famille qui tisse des nattes à partir de carex qui poussent en abondance dans les environs. 2. Inspiration Pagoda Orphelinat : où il héberge et prend soin de plus de 160 enfants abandonnés, orphelins ou des rues. Les enfants de l'orphelinat sont pris en charge par un groupe de religieuses bouddhistes et de bénévoles. Leur objectif est de fournir aux enfants un environnement sûr et bienveillant qui atténue leur malheur et donne plus de sens à leur vie. En tant qu'organisation privée, l'orphelinat essaie de fournir à ses enfants nourriture, abri, santé et éducation. 3. Statue géante du Bouddha Amitabha à une hauteur de 68 mètres avec des panoramas panoramiques sur les rizières au-delà. 4. Fabrication de nouilles sèches : L'un des aliments les plus typiques à base de riz cuit à la vapeur et transformé en morceaux ronds séchés au soleil sur des supports en bambou en vente dans les auberges ou les magasins. 5. Village de fabrication de chapeaux coniques : Travail manuel des femmes

Pham's tour guides (there 39 of us) was awaiting us just outside the port gates at Phu My. Tu was our tour leader. He spoke excellent English. He was a 25-year old college grad who lived at home with 19 others. As we drove thru Ho Chi Minh City, we were surprised to see how modern it was. It took about 2 ½+ hours to drive to the Mekong. Tu was giving us loads of insight all the way. At the river we loaded into a large boat to cross to Unicorn Island. After seeing how coconuts are made into candy and a brief shopping stop. We were on to an area where we were served with various kinds of local fruit and entertained by the staff. Thereafter, on to the larger “canoe like” boats for a run through the river. The river was as crowded boats as were the roads were with motorcycles. Tu road with my wife and I. Impressive!!! The small boats took us to a dock were we re-loaded into the larger boat for the return to shore. Later we stopped for a PHENOMENAL lunch and a bit of shopping and back to the ship. It was a thoroughly delightful day. Tu was SUPER!!!. The tour was SUPERB!! The Pham Tour left nothing incomplete and far exceeded all our expectations.

I worked with Dung Pham over a period of many months to organize four Vietnam shore excursion tours off of a cruise ship in the ports of Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang and Da Nang. He was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the process and went above and beyond the call of duty to facilitate changes and even allowed last minute cancellations when bad weather forced our ship to alter its itinerary on several occasions. We only ended up taking two of the tours -- the Cai Be floating market in the Mekong and a full day tour of the highlights in the countryside of Da Nang, Each was outstanding. The guides spoke excellent English and were both knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Photos of our group were mailed to all participants following the tours. I can't say enough good things about Pham tours and Dung Pham in particular. He turned what could have been a disaster for our group into an outstanding experience!

The statue leans on the mountains facing the sea with 17 floors in the statue lap, each floor has an altar with 21 Buddha statues which have different shapes, facing expression and posture. The next stop will be Marble Mountains with five marble and limestone hills named after the five elements: Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth. The Marble Mountains where you can observe a great city & ocean , and explore the natural caves, visit the the holy pagoda. Visit My Son Holly Land – the ruins of Cham people and was an imperial city during Cham dynasty. Here you can have more chance to explore and understand of technique of Old Cham people in making red bricks to build Tower which still now a secret to everyone, you can see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. It also surprises for those who are curious with architectural art. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Moreover, you have chance to enjoy traditional music performed by Cham girls in their colorful uniforms. Take photos of Dragon Bridge. On the way back to the ship, we will stop you at My Khe Beach (the R&R beach where US marines landed in and stayed in during Viet Nam War.
