My wife and I had the pleasure of being shown the main cultural highlights of Istanbul by Rukiye: The Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque and Hippodrome and the Grand Bazaar. Apart from being a charming companion, she is very knowledgeable about all of the historical background and facts that bring these places alive. I wholeheartedly recommend her if you want a first-class walking tour of Istanbul's Sutanahmet district.

I booked this tour because I wanted to get a bunch of historic attractions including the grand bazaar, done in one day. Plus as a solo traveler I wanted to experience the city with someone who knew it best. Great experience! Unal picked us up at the hotel and took us to the historical center. We saw all the main sights. Unal was very knowledgeable and personable. He gave us enough historical context to understand what we were seeing and he also explained to us how it all fits into the modern line in Turkey. I highly recommend this tour!
