This walking tour is a great way to see the highlights of Stonetown in just 3 hours. Our guide, Ali, was very knowledgeable and was patient with all of our questions!

Alfa is THE BEST!!! We booked directly with him and he was able to accommodate my friend and I day of. In short, it was an AMAZING, fairly priced three hour private tour! Alfa's knowledge about the history of Zanzibar is so vast and beyond impressive! He comes alive telling the stories with such great detail and had my friend and I hooked. We asked several questions and Alfa didn't hesitate in answering any of them. He had the best recommendations for spices and restaurants. He was also incredibly patient as my friend and I shopped and requested endless pictures and videos. I'm confident we hit all the spots and it was worth every penny! Would not do a Zanzibar tour without Alfa! He absolutely sold us on the island and made the trip so worthwhile. 10000% recommend!!!

Great experience. Alfa is very knowledgable and showed us so many cool places and answered all our questions. I loved that we could stop on various shops along the way to look around and buy some keepsakes. Highly recommend.

Don’t hesitate to book this tour! It was awesome! I started the tour tired and a bit hot thinking that I would not want to stay longer than necessary, but the tour took every bit of three hours (because I asked so many questions all of which were answered) and I enjoyed all of it. I learned so much and saw so much. Excellent tour from an excellent and attentive tour guide.

We had a fantastic morning with Alfa, who provided us with a great overview of the history of Stone Town and Zanzibar. It was great being guided throught the winding streets learning about the different cultures that came to form what is now Stone Town. Highly recommend this tour 😊

Brilliant tour of stone town with Alfa. It’s a great way to see the town - there’s so much I’d have missed otherwise! He was full of interesting facts about the history of Zanzibar, and its buildings and architecture etc. I also booked the tour very last minute but Alfa was really quick to confirm and responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

We had the most incredible experience in Zanzibar, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing guide Alfa. From the very first day, everything was handled with such professionalism, care, and attention to detail. He didn’t just take us to the usual tourist spots, he made sure we experienced the real Zanzibar. From the stunning beaches to the cultural tours, Nakupenda Island, Swimming with turtles, snorkeling and swimming with dolphins, The dhow cruise and hidden gems, every moment felt thoughtfully curated. The lunch he provided was amazing. He was always on time, very knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does, which made the entire experience even more special. What stood out the most was how comfortable and taken care of we felt throughout the trip. He was patient, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy.
