It was great! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of this area and we went to Wupatki National Monument, Sunset Volcano park in addition to the Grand Canyon. Full day… 7am -5pm
I appreciated the small group I toured with because it made it easier to see many things. Our guide was energetic, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. He even took us to a spot where no other people were. The view was spectacular! It was quite a treat to behold. We also went to two Monuments outside of Flagstaff. Seeing how rock formed from lava and whatnot was amazing! To know that there are 600 volcanoes in the Flagstaff area was so interesting. I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see the Grand Canyon and learn about history.
Al did an absolutely great job. Very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. He made the trip well-worth it.
What an amazing tour! The entire day was very well-thought out, and it was great having stops at different points of the Canyon as well as the Wupatki Monument and Cameron Trading Post. Our guide, Rasa, was very friendly, enthusiastic, and full of facts. He is very knowledgeable of the area and his articulate explanations really added to the day, giving us all a greater understanding of the history, lifestyles, and botany associated with the area. He was also very helpful in offering to take photos, pass on bottled water, and making sure we were comfortable in the minivan. Thank you, Rasa! All in all, an incredible day, and a great way to see the Canyon. Bucket list experience!
Our guide, Brad, was a wealth of knowledge and entertainment throughout the whole trip. His narrative of not only the geography but the Native people's interlocking history, made the drive through the places like the volcano fields and the ruins of the Hopi people rich and colorful. The well-timed stops broke up the drive into comfortable chunks, helping the transit time to go by quickly. As a first timer seeing the Grand canyon from the ground, it was a perfect introduction that gave us some footing to know what we want to see when we go back for a more extended stay.
Our guide Stevee B was extremely knowledgeable and made the entire experience that much more enjoyable! I was initially concerned about the heat of Arizona in June, but as Stevee explained the temperature drops at higher altitudes making the temperature comfortable. Gorgeous views, small group was perfect! Highly recommend.
Stevee was very knowledgeable and entertaining!
We had an incredible experience, and Kurt was a huge part of what made this tour so memorable! He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the history of every area we visited, sharing not only the well-known stories but also unique facts and details that you wouldn't typically hear on a standard tour. It was clear he has a genuine passion for the region and loves sharing it with others. Because our group was small, we ended up being the only ones on the tour, which made for a much more personal experience. Kurt was happy to tailor the day to our interests, giving us the flexibility to spend more or less time at each stop depending on what we wanted. We never felt rushed, and the pace was perfect. One of our favorite stops was Cameron Trading Post, where we had a delicious lunch and enjoyed browsing the gift shop. Every viewpoint along the Grand Canyon was absolutely breathtaking. At each stop, Kurt would walk with us to point out features and make sure we didn't miss anything, then give us plenty of time to explore, take photos, and simply enjoy the incredible scenery on our own. From beginning to end, everything was well organized, relaxing, and enjoyable. Kurt's knowledge, flexibility, and friendly personality made this one of the highlights of our trip. We would absolutely book this tour again and highly recommend requesting Kurt if you have the opportunity. He truly made our Grand Canyon experience unforgettable!
Stevee is WONDERFUL! He took us to places that we would never have seen on our own. He’s like a walking encyclopedia for the Grand Canyon, Indian ruins, geology, Arizona and a zillion other topics! He shared so much knowledge, was very entertaining, was friendly, checked constantly on our comfort levels and made our experience fantastic! We highly recommend Stevee and Ma and Pa Tours! Thank you! William and Linda
