The tour operator, Manos, was absolutely wonderful! He’s very knowledgeable and entertaining. The 3 hours flew by. Would highly recommend.
Outstanding tour! Manos was wonderful as it was just the two of us on board. So grateful that he drove us up close and personal to the various sites including the steep hills. There is far too much walking if you do not do a tour like this to manage. We highly recommend seeing the various areas and sites across the city. We felt very safe and secure too!
The driver, Joseph was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Athens and Greece. We all loved this tour. Would highly recommend for a fantastic overview of Athens
We booked this tour at the very last minute on our final morning in Athens before heading to the airport for our flight home to Australia. The company responded to our enquiry promptly and went out of their way to fit us into our very tight schedule, which we really appreciated. Our guide, Manos, was an absolute delight. He was friendly, enthusiastic, and incredibly knowledgeable about Athens, its history, and its culture. His English was excellent, making everything easy to understand and very enjoyable. The tour was the perfect way to end our Greek holiday, and we left feeling that we’d made the most of our last few hours in this beautiful city. We highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Athens, especially if you’re looking for professional service, flexibility, and an exceptional guide. Thank you, Manos, for making our final morning in Greece so memorable!
Our private tour of Athens in a tuk- tuk (all electric!), was the perfect way to get ideas of all the sites to see. We did this tour on our first full day back in Athens after 46 year. Joseph, our master tour guide/driver is native to Athens with perfect English speaking skills if you prefer that language. He picked up right on time and for the next 3 hours he showed us every important site and more. He was very happy we had been here before so he gave an intermediate level of history, culture, historical sites and meaning behind everything we saw since we weren’t new to the history of Athens in particular and Greek civilization in general. However he was equally happy to give first-timer info on new sites/different routes we saw. We went to (stopped at) so many sites of interest including the National Gardens, Temple of Zeus, Constitution Square and the foot of the Acropolis. We stopped for lengthy Q &A sessions at the Agora, the top of Mount Lycabettus (and a magnificent view of all of Athens, Piraeus and beyond), and the Panathenaic stadium. We took a drive thru the expensive Kolonaki neighborhood. I’m mobility, impaired in Joseph took this into consideration at every point possible. He also stopped under the shade of trees due to the heat. Another important factor. This tour and Joseph more than met our expectations. Book it! Ask for Joseph!.
Minolis made this whole Greece Wedding trip even more amazing. The customer service is absolutely over the top. The details on the history of Athens is very dynamic and he gives you the question and answer to make sure you are involved to help you understand so much more about their beautiful history in this beautiful city. We stopped for refreshments and souvenirs as well. This tuk tuk experience was very thought out as it was so easy and exciting. Me and my family will definitely be back to enjoy it again next year. Thank You Manolis for doing what you do and doing it with a passion. You can totally tell this is what you love. See you soon.
Thus was a great way to see Athens especially if you have limited mobility. It was fun and the guide was great!
Manos was our guide and was very knowledgeable about the history of Athens. He was super friendly and allowed us time to stop and take pictures at the various sites. It was a great way to see the highlights on our first day in Athens before we headed to our cruise. The only negative is that our tuk tuk had seats facing each other so two people had to face backwards. This also caused everyone's legs to keep getting in each others way. I was very disappointed because when I first booked this tour, Carlos confirmed via email that we would be able to have forward facing seats instead of one seat facing backward. This wasn't the case and was very uncomfortable. Not sure why they would use backward facing seats for a tour!
Such an amazing trip and the best way to see the highlights of Athens! Joseph was such a knowledgable guide and was so passionate about Greek history. He picked us up from our hotel, which made our start so easy, and he made sure he timed all our stops well so that we could see some specific places at certain times (such as the changing of the guards). He was fantastic with my 12 yr old son and made it so much fun for him. He brought the city and its history to life! Ideal for those who aren't as mobile and also for children who may not want to do much walking but who want to experience the highlights of Athens. A fantastic trip - thank you so much!!
This tour was perfect. Cristos was knowledgeable, personable and tailored this tour to us. We see and learned so many sights and he stopped to make sure I got the best olive oil. He even stopped for us to try excellent Greek yogurt and ice cream! I highly recommend touring Athens this way!
