All top notch!! We booked directly through the operator running the tour in Turkey (Ot-ti travel). We had been to Ephesus during the day on a trip three years ago and this time, wanted to take in beauty of it at night. Tas, our guide was our tour guide on a private tour and was well worth it. We were picked up by our experienced driver Omer who was excellent at navigating the roads and traffic in Kusadasi, both there and back. Tas was very knowledgeable and provided great insight on our tour of Ephesus. He was able to take us to areas at the ruins that we were unable to see on our large group 3 yrs ago. Would highly recommend both tour and guide.
I would highly recommend this tour with Gigi! She took her time and went with our pace for the tour. Her knowledge was excellent for not only the tour, but Turkey itself. She was gracious and spoke excellent English. I would not recommend the museum for someone that may have an issue with vertigo or motion sickness. The Turkish rug demonstration was outstanding followed by an excellent lunch. Pleasant experience, bring a hat and comfortable shoes and water. There were bathroom stops and a place to buy water half way though the tour.
Our guide was wonderful!! We love this tour and had a great experience! Highly recommend
We book the Ephesus Biblical Tour and Gökçe (Gigi) was our guide. We met up with the driver and we were off. Gigi was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly! She was extremely attentive to our needs and overall experience was great. It was a long day with the heat but having a driver that dropped us off and always picked us up at the “front door” of each attraction was perfect. No walking in parking lots or fighting for parking spaces. We would absolutely book again and would always request Gigi. Thank you for a perfect experience!
We had a great time today with Taz and Boss!! Very knowledgeable, lots of great info about the ancient city of Ephesus!! Stopped at a Turkish rug making center where we also had a nice lunch. The whole experience was really terrific! Would recommend to anyone!! Thanks again guys!
A really good tour with strong biblical links. This was a fantastic insight into the history of Turkey. Just be mindful the you will visit a carpet factory with no obligation to purchase. We respectfully showed interest in the techniques used but did feel a little pressure to buy, although we didn't.
My daughter and I recently took a tour (Ephesus Biblical Tour) with Tas, and it was one of the best guided experiences we’ve ever had. His deep knowledge and enthusiasm made the day feel like exploring with a local friend rather than a standard tour guide. He answered every one of our questions with patience and expertise. We wanted to move at a slower pace and he accommodated us. We recommend Viator as a tour company and Tas as an exceptional tour guide.
Our local guide, Gigi, spoke excellent English and is very knowledgeable on the history of this area. Ale, our driver, was very good. We departed from the port and arrived safely back. He was very helpful to us getting out of the van. They were both friendly and polite. Our meal, a traditional lunch of meatballs and chicken with rice was very good and reasonably priced. Our tour was pleasant and educational.
Selin was our tour guide. She was very informative and knowledgeable about Ephesus. The van was very comfortable. Our driver was very pleasant.
It was a great day. Loved the tour of Ephesus and Mary’s house. The bonus was the Basilica. Selim was a great tour guide, very informative and personable. Enjoyed his company very much.
