The tour spent 80 percent of its time outside the cathedral before it took you inside. It was not well cued so you knew what you were supposed to be looking at. It was hard to follow and not good. This cathedral should develop its own audio guide. They are missing an opportunity.

We made a deliberate editorial choice to dedicate more time to this, and we hear you that the transition inside felt abrupt. Our team is reviewing how to better signal that balance upfront so visitors can set their expectations. On navigation cues: because GPS signals cannot function reliably inside a cathedral, we provide visual cues through images of each stop location within the app. We are looking into why this did not work as expected for you, and we want to make sure it is seamless for every visitor. The tour was very clear and easy to follow. Learned a lot but followed the big picture, so the tour didn't go into too much detail.

It's a pretty good tour of the Cathedral, though as others say, it's confusing to find your way around. The map didn't pinpoint all of the points of interest and the speaker didn't give any detailed orientation directions, just telling you to look at the pictures. The AI voice was really, really annoying and caused us quite a few eyerolls as it mispronunced many words and 'spoke' in an unnatural cadance. It irritated us to support a tour that had been sloppily translated and read by AI so that the tour operators could save money, but at least we didn't pay much for this. Just buy one tour for 2 people and share your headphones. Also, what helped the most was that we had already walked through the Cathedral using Rick Steves guidebook, which had already pointed out the key points of interest, so we could anticipate where this AI tour wanted us to look. The audioguide was still a good supplement, however, because it gave additional information, but glad I had done Rick Steve's better written and explained overview of the site first.

We visited the cathedral early on a Sunday morning. No guided tours were available for the only time we had. We arrived at the beginning of an early mass. We were able to see the cathedral in full operation. After the mass we were able to walk through the cathedral and view the classical architecture and the beautiful windows. Well worth the visit.

The concept is good. However, the guide never told you where to be. For example, stand outside and face the door. You had to figure out all this on your own. We barely used the tour after 20 minutes. I only got this because we couldn’t not get on the Viator English-speaking walking tour.
