It was great! Worked very well with the amount of time used to explain each stop and then time to pause for a break or lunch. Very well versed.
The application was very informative. Easy to use. We were able to locate all of the points of interest and move at our own pace.
It was an easy to use app. Getting around with the directions was easy also. I used the app over two days to see all the sights. I expected to hear a bit more history at each site. Perhaps the owners can add a bonus for those of us who want to go further into history.
Tour does a good job of giving you the highlights at a decent pace. Easy navigation. Can complete at your leisure. Had good tips trough out. Anna was great too. FYI. You will need to download an app. Wegotrip.
We found this tour really easy and self explanatory. I was given an app to download and everything was there! The only reason why I gave 1 less star is because they should let you know to take a power bank with you as the app drains your battery so had to make sure we found power along our route. Otherwise a great tour! :)
Thank you very much for your feed back! It is very important point. We will add this into tour description! When travelling in winter due to cold temperatures phone battery usually runs out of charge very fast. Please remember, power bank in winter is necessary!
We had a great time. The Nordkettebahn was an added bonus. I was really disappointed that it was narrated by an American who couldn’t pronounce any of the German names or places. As a German speaker, it really grated on me. Why not a native German speaker who speaks English?
Dear Brigitte, thank you very much for feedback! We appreciate it very much. We already consider to translate this tour in German as well. But till now this tour is done for native English speakers, and so audio is provided by native american, who has worked as radio moderator. In future do also German translation and German record for German native speakers as well. Thank you for informing us that this is necessary! For future customers, I will add here in comment info as soon as it will be finished!
First the positive: in terms of logistics it was super easy to install, download and then follow the tour. Also, Anna was very helpful in the process via WhatsApp. But I was indeed a bit disappointed: I took the tour on a rainy day in Innsbruck that didn't invite for long strolls, but I also wasn't stressing. The tour took me 40 minutes without any of the suggested detours. While the information was good and helpful, it could have included quite a few more stops in the old town that were within reach. The English tour is spoken by an AI-voice, which was not pleasant. The intonation is lifeless and the Austrian names are horribly mispronounced. All in all, it was a decent introduction to Innsbruck and nicely flexible being without a tourist group. But for the price I had expected a higher quality execution of the audioguide.
Dear Annina, Thank you for your feedback and info your gave us about tour. We did some improvement base on you recommendations. We have improve English voice over and since June 2023 it is professional voice of English book reader. German names are said in the English pronunciation, as it is first of all tour for English speakers, and not Swiss-German speakers. In German tour you will have native German voice over. Tour has 20 steps with all the main sights of Innsbruck, included some additional local tips for restaurants and cafes, panoramic platforms, museums, cable car and other things you can visit additional on you own. This gives very good introduction to town, but still not be tired from too many dates. Idea of the tour to explore city in your own speed and enjoy it, taking stops in beautiful cafes, trying desserts, visiting panoramic platforms, even going to Cable Car up and down, or to Swarovski musem. There is no guide or group who set the time limit. But here is your personal self-guided tour which helps you to get introduction to the city, its places, touch the history, all significant sight and get idea how to plan your time in Innsbruck, what to visit later and where to have good lunch or dinner. So there is no limits which push to run this tourunder the rain. Idea is to use it whole your stay in Innsbruck as a personal guide! As soon as you have downloaded the tour, it stays forever with you in you account in App and you can use it any time you want. We wish you all the best and advice to come back in Innsbruck and enjoy it in sunny weather again!
This was great! It was easy to move along the tour. You could listen the same explanation again and read the text if the was something you didn't quite catch. It was nice that you could just stop whenever you wanted in the middle of the tour and do you own stuff and then continue the tour. I loved the flexibility and how easy to use the app was. Great way to get an introduction of Innsbruck and to dive deeper in the things you find interesting.
I loved doing this tour! It was so nice to go at my own pace. I made a stop at the bell tower to climb to the top and got a great view! I also stopped and rode the lift that the tour brought me to! The tour was informative and gave great recommendations (definitely hit the last stop!)
We’re experienced travelers. We don’t like being tied to a group, and we don’t need a shepherd. This was a perfect way to visit Innsbruck. The map guide was much simpler than on line maps- you could always see the destination, so wandering down an interesting side street didn’t result in “relocating” or a new set of directions- you just looked for your way back on track. The tour allowed you at any time to stop, for a snack, lunch, shopping. If the given info was enough, you moved on; if not, there was supplemental material. We were “touring” during the Christmas markets, so our tour took about 5 hours. The itinerary kept us from backtracking, but lead us to many spots that called for extra time. I will definitely check if a tour is available in cities I visit in the future.
