Commencez votre voyage d'une journée en Bulgarie par un départ de votre hôtel à Bucarest le matin. Voyagez en voiture ou en minibus climatisé jusqu'aux contreforts des montagnes des Balkans. Explorez le village médiéval de Veliko Tarnovo avec votre guide. Ici, vous pourrez observer la forteresse de Tsaravets, une fortification du Moyen Âge. Continuez et visitez le monastère Saint-Dimitrie Basarabov, qui est creusé dans une falaise et toujours habité. Allez au village d'Arbanasi et admirez l'architecture médiévale. Le premier arrêt de la visite, le monastère Saint-Dimitrie Basarabov, est le seul exemple bulgare d'une telle structure creusée dans une falaise encore habitée aujourd'hui, et son atmosphère vous émerveillera. Vous aurez un peu de temps pour explorer ce magnifique monument religieux avant de continuer vers la remarquable colonie médiévale de Veliko Tarnovo, qui était autrefois la capitale médiévale de la Bulgarie.
Veliko Tarnovo abrite la magnifique forteresse de Tsaravets, la fortification bulgare la plus solide du Moyen Âge. Autrefois demeure de la royauté, cette ancienne forteresse est maintenant une attraction touristique saisissante se dressant fièrement au sommet de la colline Tsaravets. Une fois que vous aurez exploré Veliko Tarnovo et apprécié le déjeuner, la visite se poursuivra jusqu'à son dernier arrêt; Village d'Arbanasi. Niché sur un haut plateau entre les colonies de Veliko Tarnovo et Gorna Oryahovitsa, le village d'Arbanasi offre des vues spectaculaires et des exemples incroyables d'architecture médiévale datant de plusieurs siècles. Cette visite est vraiment pour les passionnés d'histoire passionnés et tous ceux qui apprécient les beaux bâtiments, les paysages époustouflants et l'occasion de découvrir un peu plus la Bulgarie.
Le village d'Arbanasi est connu pour la richesse de son histoire et son grand nombre de monuments historiques, tels que les églises des XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles et des exemples d'architecture néo-bulgare, qui en ont fait une destination touristique populaire.
Il faut absolument visiter Market Street où les gens y vendaient des produits artisanaux au 19ème siècle. De nos jours, la rue est une attraction touristique où l'on peut voir de vieilles maisons rénovées, divers ateliers d'artisanat traditionnel, des boulangeries, des pâtisseries et ce qu'on a appelé Hadji Nikoly Inn construit en 1858.

Alin was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and good fun. Our trip was delayed by 24hrs due to heavy snow fall but the communication was brilliant & the rearrangement easy. Our trip was seamless, the border crossings were simple and the sights were stunning. Alin also gave us a small tour of Bucharest at the end of the day as we'd missed so much due to the weather.
Great tour to do from Bucharest Romania 🇷🇴 to Bulgaria 🇧🇬 . It's an all day tour, but definitely worth the value and time. My guide was Octavian, and he did an awesome job. He picked me up right on time in the morning. This tour wasn't the traditional boring tour, it was fun like going on a road trip with a friend. We saw great scenery along the way and sights on a small town in Bulgaria that is interesting. He takes great photos 📸 for memories. Don't hesitate to book this tour, trust me. We had a wonderful private tour to Veliko Tarnovo with Alin as our guide and driver for the day.
