Nous proposons une visite indépendante pour visiter la Villa Carlotta, les Jardins de la Villa Melzi D'Eril et la Villa Monastero en toute liberté, les transferts entre une villa et une autre se feront avec le ferry, vous aurez la possibilité d'admirer les magnifiques rivages du lac. Il est également possible d'acheter une visite guidée avec un guide agréé pour vous accompagner dans la visite guidée des villas.

Villa Carlotta, villa enchanteresse ! Célèbre pour son majestueux jardin botanique, dont il fait partie du circuit des Grands Jardins Italiens, et pour ses salles où sont exposées des œuvres d'art célèbres à l'intérieur
Les jardins de la Villa Melzi D'Eril sont parmi les plus beaux d'Italie et d'Europe ! La Villa est une propriété privée et pour cette raison il n'est pas possible de visiter l'intérieur, vous pouvez visiter et admirer les jardins splendides et bien entretenus, la Villa de l'extérieur, la Chapelle, l'Orangerie.
Villa historique "bijou" située dans la splendide Varenna, vous aurez l'occasion de visiter son magnifique jardin botanique qui longe le lac et la maison du musée qui vous racontera plus de presque 9 siècles d'histoire. *le mardi à Villa Monastero, seuls les jardins sont ouverts à la visite : la Maison Musée est fermée.

Don't take so unforeseen and have to cancel at the last minute, because Richard doesn't even deign to answer your email and cancel without refund for an activity at 99€ / pers. where we have to fend for ourselves to go there by our own means knowing that from Como we are at 1h40 for Bellagio and 2h50 for Varenna it is very abused. In addition, we had opted for a meeting point in Bellagio which is the olus "near" our hotel in Como and we receive an email from the organizer who informs us that the meeting place is in Varenna, almost 3 hours drive and 9:23 on site, which forced us to leave around 6am to be there. Inconceivable!!!!

The Villas were amazing! Your on your own so if you want a guided excursion this is not it. We loved it because we could go at our own pace.

Beautiful gardens and villas and great opportunity to see several places in the same day. Be aware that it is a trip on your own so read the trip proposal carefully and set yourself into the schedules. It is advisable to meet in good time to the ferry at least in July. Lots of people. Voucher to Villa Monastero in Varenna was rejected by those who took tickets on the grounds that the agreement was terminated three days ago. We ended up paying ourselves. Taken up this m tour operator in posttime. The travel agency was fast and professional and deeply regrets that there had been a communication failure in the transition of the agreements. We were refunded and the travel agency quickly cleared up the misunderstanding.

The description didn't really explain that you would be totally on your own. You are! There also wasn't enough time to see all 3 villas with the boat schedule. We only were able to see 2- one time our intended boat was full and we had to walk to the next stop and wait for another 30 minutes. Not the tours fault just how things worked out. Would not recommend because I could've gone online myself and bought tickets to the same villas and boat tickets. Live and learn. Still the villas we did see were amazing!

For this excursion on Viator it is clearly specified in the description that the tour is an independent tour, this can also be seen in the part relating to inclusions where no guide or tour leader is listed, even when proceeding with the purchase before purchasing there are two proposals solutions: tour of the villas with guide and tour of the villas no guide, so the participant can choose whether to do the excursion in total freedom or accompanied by a guide, obviously the costs are different. As regards the boats, I understand that being in the high season you found the boat fully and consequently you were unable to see the next villa and I'm sorry about this. I know when I booked it it said no guide. I was under the impression that someone would lead us to these places and not go in to explain and point out interesting things. No, you are on your own to find these places that the ferry to another place and find that place. I couldn’t even download the tickets. When I tried to download them it says THIS IS NOT YOUR TICKET. It also have a meeting time and what I thought was a meeting place. I have used Viator many times and this has never happened. I’ve always been happy with my day tours.

The inclusions and exclusions are clearly and highlights everything you expect to receive, in fact, the inclusions do not indicate in any way an assistant or a tour leader who would guided you during the day's program, only the other option with the licensed tour guide could offer this service. Furthermore, when the colleague from the Varenna tourist office called us to help her print the vouchers to be presented, I clearly reported to her that she had booked a self-guided tour and that the indicated program was to be followed to do it independently. Moreover, in none of our "tickets" is it written that “this is not a ticket”, in fact you have received the definitive ticket for public boat while the other documents was the vouchers to be presented at the ticket offices of the villas for the collection of the entrance tickets on site and also always the colleague of the Varenna tourist office showed and downloaded the vouchers and tickets via whatsapp on your mobile phone. I'm sorry that it was this misunderstanding on your part, I hope you still had a pleasant day on Lake Como, thank you very much and have a nice day.
