Itinéraire
Nous aurons la possibilité de gravir l'un des volcans les plus actifs d'Amérique du Sud avec une hauteur de 2 847 mètres. Dans l'ascension, nous pouvons vivre l'alpinisme en différentes phases, de la marche avec des bâtons vers le sommet, à la randonnée avec des crampons et un piolet dans des zones plus exposées, où toujours sous le soutien de nos guides experts, une expérience de montagne significative sera vivait. Au sommet, on peut clairement observer l'activité de ce volcan sacré à travers sa fumerolle et si le temps le permet, on pourra peut-être observer le magma incandescent à l'intérieur. À la descente, les vues panoramiques sur les lacs de la région et la géographie du lieu nous donneront des informations claires sur l'environnement naturel unique où nous nous trouvons. Nous pourrons descendre des sections en glissant sur des toboggans de neige. Nous grimperons 1 700 mètres de dénivelé, avec possibilité de prendre un téléski sur le premier tronçon. 3 heures du temps mentionné sont pour les transferts vers ce point

Such an incredible experience! I’m studying abroad in Villarrica and wanted to climb the volcano before I departed. This exceeded my expectations.
What a fantastic day! It was a challenging but fun hike up, with some incredible views, one of the most rewarding experiences I had while in Chile! The experience was made even better by the guides, who were the ultimate mix of professionalism, motivation and fun!

If you’re planning this trip, I would recommend this company. We were welcomed by a member of staff in the office the day before who explained very clearly how the day would be organised so that we knew what to bring/what would be provided. On the day, with a group of eight people we had three guides. This was helpful as some people wanted to walk all the way and others use the ski lift for the first section. The weather was challenging but we made it to the top! All the guides were very encouraging and supportive at difficult times. Lots of advice was given to make the ascent as easy as possible.
The climb up Volcan Villarrica was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of my trip to Chile! Everything was perfectly organized from the equipment and safety briefing to the entire execution of the tour. Our guides were extremely professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They took great care of us the whole time, kept us motivated, shared lots of interesting information, and always made sure we were safe. We felt secure and well looked after at every moment. I definitely recommend this trip! The guides were fantastic - they explained everything clearly, took great care of the group, and supported each person individually whenever needed. On top of that, they were such a lovely and friendly team! The climb was very well organized, and the experience of reaching the top of the volcano was truly one of the best I’ve ever had. The hike was excellently organized, there were many tips on the hiking technique and the surroundings and the downhill with the sleds made a lot of fun! Our guide Francis was the best we could get. Without them, our hike would have been half as much fun! I can definitely recommend the tour!
