Uri guided a tour of Jerusalem’s Old City for a group of researchers and museum educators from Germany, Rwanda, France, and Israel, as part of an international seminar we held at the Ghetto Fighters’ House. I honestly cannot say enough about how impressed we were. Uri’s knowledge is extraordinary, but what really stood out was the way he shared it - with passion, elegance, sensitivity, and a real understanding of the very diverse group he was guiding. Jerusalem is not an easy place to navigate, historically or emotionally, and he managed to bring its complexity to life, keeping the group engaged, curious and perplexed (in a very good way). It was a fascinating and deeply meaningful day, and Uri was a huge part of that. I recommend him wholeheartedly and will absolutely continue working with him in the future.

Uri has such a depth of knowledge and he painstakingly shares all the details. Not only does he have tons of information but he also gets an A plus for his efforts to share it with us. Possessed of an encyclopaedic knowledge of modern and ancient history and with his own personal experiences to access, Uri is perfectly placed to lead knowledgeable and information hungry groups through the Holy Land. Equally important, he has the personal skills to understand how much information is required and when so that you don’t receive information when what you really want is a moment of quiet. He was so informative of the holy land and gave wealth of information from the moment we got on the bus in the mornings to the moment we step off the bus in the evening.
