Il relie le château médiéval tardif de Vérone à la rive gauche de l'Adige. Il a été presque détruit lors d'un bombardement et plus tard entièrement reconstruit en ressemblant exactement à l'original.

C'est une élégante construction du I siècle après JC de l'architecte romain Vitruvio, qui célèbre la gloire de la gens Gavia, une importante famille romaine de Vérone.
Il a été construit par les Romains au 1er siècle après JC, à l'époque augustéenne. Aujourd'hui encore, l'Arena est le cadre célèbre de la spectaculaire saison d'opéra de Vérone.
Vous verrez la cour de la maison des Capuleti, où a vécu le célèbre protagoniste de la tragédie shakespearienne.
La maison de Roméo est un palais médiéval dans le centre de Vérone. Jusqu'au début du XIVe siècle, c'était la maison de la famille Montecchi qui, selon les légendes et les textes littéraires, était la famille de Roméo.Le bâtiment est privé, habité et on ne peut le voir que de l'extérieur
C'est la plus grande place de Vérone, est bordée de nombreux cafés et restaurants, ainsi que de plusieurs bâtiments charmants
C'est le cimetière Scaligeri. En plus de plusieurs sarcophages, nous trouvons les trois magnifiques arches construites pour Cangrande I, Mastino II et Cansignorio.
C'était le Forum, centre de la vie citadine à l'époque romaine. Le centre de la place contient les monuments qui symbolisent les différents dirigeants de Vérone: le plus célèbre est la fontaine, construite sous le règne des Scaligeri.
La Piazza dei Signori était l'ancien centre du pouvoir de Vérone. Une grande statue du célèbre poète italien Dante Alighieri domine la place depuis 1865 et lui donne le surnom de «Piazza Dante».

It was difficult to understand the tour guide who was Italian and gave the tour in English. He showed us basic historical sites with a little explanation. You could probably read up on sites to see on your own.

Guide never showed up to the walking tour. Called the office after 15 minutes of waiting, they stated the person had an emergency. It would have been nice for the office to let us know so that we didn’t have to travel to the city for nothing.
