we booked the 3 day cruise including transport. cruise line admitted the overlooked our transport and the had to arrange a taxi from Ninh Binh to ensure we arrived on time. the food was all pre cooked and pre prepared and was not fresh . everything was extra . if you wanted water when eating this was extra high cost. tea/coffee was extra. the boat and rooms were very dated. the staff appear to be on commission for selling drinks. if you take a bottle alcohol from mainland on board they charge an additional surcharge of 500,000 Vnd . all cruise boats are docked Ti top island. we counted 54 boats anchored near us overnight

My friends and I from work had an amazing time on the Verdure Lotus Luxury cruise in Ha Long Bay. It's a great choice if you're looking for a luxurious yet relaxing cruise experience while also having the chance to explore the breathtaking natural beauty of Ha Long Bay. Highlights of the cruise: Friendly and professional service: The staff on board was very attentive and always ready to assist. The atmosphere on the boat was very relaxing and comfortable. Spacious and well-equipped rooms: The cabins are designed beautifully, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Most rooms have large windows offering fantastic views of the bay, perfect for relaxation. Onboard activities: The cruise offers a variety of enjoyable activities such as kayaking and swimming. We also had the chance to explore some islands and caves around Ha Long Bay, which was really exciting. Delicious meals: The food was great, especially the fresh seafood. Dining on board was a pleasant experience, with a comfortable setting to enjoy our meals after a day of exploration. Overall, we had a very relaxing and memorable trip. The Verdure Lotus Luxury cruise provided us with a wonderful experience with its elegant atmosphere, professional service, and fun activities. It’s definitely a great choice for anyone looking to explore Ha Long Bay in a peaceful and luxurious setting. I would definitely come back if given the chance!

We chose this boat for its medium size, comfort (you have to take the Lotus Luxury Greenery, which is newer and more beautiful), furnishings (private balcony, plants, greenery, without swimming pool...), and visits (kayak, swimming, boat,...). We booked directly on the website, a deposit is requested 2 weeks in advance, the rest to be paid at check-in. Everything was perfect! The flight leader, Mr Loi, is very professional, attentive but ensures that the schedules of activities are respected. The rest of the crew is caring for each passenger. Meals are copious. While there are some places common to all boats (itineraries required), there are other sailing moments without the shadow of other boats. We also booked the Hanoi-Halong, then Halong-NinhBinh routes, impeccable, door to door. Congratulations for the beautiful organization!

We had a fantastic time onboard the cruise, the staff is very welcoming and we got the best suite on the cruise. Good food good music and breath taking views of Halong Bay. It would be great if the management provides complimentary water on board as it was amusing to find out the one needs to pay for it. Overall a wonderful experience!

The ship and the bay are both beautiful but you’ll need to be able to look beyond all of the trash floating in the bay unfortunately. We enjoyed the ship, the food was nice and it was amazing to have a private patio in our room. Also, the activity schedule was a nice addition. The things that had me feeling this was a less than 5 star experience were firstly that our room was a bit dirty when we arrived, used towels hanging in the bathroom and a sink and toilet that had obviously not been wiped down yet at the end of our overnight visit we were charged 90,000 dong for getting some makeup on a pillowcase. Also, the staff was kind but not very attentive.. often on their phones. The squid fishing came with no instruction, or the foot soak, or tai chi, it felt a little strange. And be prepared to spend more than double the in city prices for drinks. We spend 1.4 million dong ($100usd) for a bottle of cheap white wine.

We went on the cruise for one full day and night. The rooms were just superb. I have experienced crises in many countries but nothing to beat this luxury cruise. Based on the past experiences, we were expecting the rooms to be smaller; however they turned out to be bigger like a five star hotel! They were very plush too. The best aspect was the balcony of the room. We sat there for a long time, experiencing the ocean and the breeze. We felt as if the time should remain still now. The room toilets were also quite specious and clean. Sitting on the deck was yet another wonderful experience. There was an artificial lawn spread across and had cozy sofas for relaxing. I still remember watching the sunset sitting on the deck. Food was okay not great, but workable. Only one area where I would suggest an improvement was their stingy behaviour for very insignificant things. For example there were only two coffee sachets in the room and we wanted two more; however the same was revised. Overall experience on the cruise was great

If you are looking for 5 star luxury cruise, this is not it. The boat is really outdated with broken parts (sink faucet in the room just to name one) rooms are not soundproof so you can hear your neighbour and the loud music they play during happy hour and karaoke after dinner. We wanted a relaxing moment to do nothing and enjoy the view and nature but it wasn’t the case. Staff were lovely, food was okay nothing special.

This company sells you on experience that does not match the reality of what they are delivering. The scenery is beautiful but it was hard to enjoy when you felt like you were getting scammed. We were very disappointed with the cruise and it almost seemed comical how it was just one thing after another that went wrong for us and so many other guests we spoke to. We had many issues with the boat starting with it not being the one we were sold and the issues onboard such as the power/ac going out, foul odor from the bathroom, lower than expected accommodations and meals. The cruise is sold as a luxurious 5 star experience but it was absolutely not. The boat is in disrepair. The biggest issue is that we were bitten by bed bugs during our stay. The tour operator should also immediately take measures to decontaminate that boat and unfortunately the problem is probably much more widespread given how the company operates and has some guests being transferred between boats between their first and second nights. If you book Le Journey, Amanda, La Pinta, Lotus d’orient, or a Hera cruise you will all be on the same boat. It seems as if they market the same boat under multiple different entities.

It was a great experience and definitely worth doing. It was well organised and lots of fun would highly recommend it.

A two days one night cruise is more than enough. This is not your typical cruise on bigger ship. Do also check on the boat/ship name beforehand as the company operates a fleet. Overall nice experience
