This tour was simply a wonderful experience, and I am extremely satisfied. The skip-the-line access was fantastic and saved us so much time! Our guide was incredibly good—very knowledgeable, attentive, and positive. They gave us an unforgettable and amazing tour of the Vatican, explaining everything in a very engaging way. It was especially impressive how beautifully and passionately they told the history of the Sistine Chapel; it felt like we were transported right back to that era.

On the morning of the tour the operator changed the itinerary, instead of taking the voucher to exchange for tickets we were sent electronic tickets and advised ‘all the information you need is on the ticket’. The information on the ticket took us to the wrong location and we had a 40 minute walk to get to the entrance (tho I think the satnav was unhelpful). We reached the entrance very hot and stressed - and the experience was ruined. An extra star as the Sistine chapel was still impressive.
This is a self guided tour but they have the tickets available for you and will send them to you day of. Way easier than dealing with the heat and being outside. Keep in mind you must have your ID and name must match.
I went for a walk with friends and found the service very good. You can go and see.
