A super tour. Everything was great and clearly explained, and these caves are simply amazing. One must crawl a bit here and there or (if one wishes) climb, but that is easily achievable at a normal fitness level and makes it an experience. And that at an unbeatable (very affordable) price.
My wife and I took the "Multi-Caves" tour at Horne Lake Caves on Friday, June 26th, 2026, and it was hands-down one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The entire excursion was incredibly well-organized and thoroughly explained from start to finish. We were guided by Tyler, along with Stephanie, who was shadowing him as part of her guide training. Both of them were phenomenally well-informed, taking the time to explain exactly what we were looking at every step of the way. Their passion for the caves really shone through and added so much value to the trek. What truly set this tour apart was the pacing and the emphasis on safety. Even when navigating the more challenging and difficult passages, we felt completely safe and never once felt rushed. Tyler and Steph were exceptionally patient with our questions and perfectly accommodated our pace. If you are looking for an exciting, educational, and professionally run cave experience, we cannot recommend this tour highly enough. An enthusiastic 10/10 from us—thank you, Tyler and Stephanie! -Wayne & Brenda
My wife and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. This is definitely worth experiencing. Our guide, Jenna was very informative and brought a light and friendly demeanor to our group. It was a warm day, so I recommend NOT putting on your coveralls until you reach the cave. I had a good sweat going by the time we got there. I am 6'2" with so so knees, so if you are not good at crouching down and walking under low ceilings or tight spaces, you might not enjoy it. We wore our hiking shoes. No need for the rubber boots unless you really don't want your feet to get a bit wet at the end of the tour.
Jenna was the best so knowledgable and would throw in a good joke here and there. She was so good with my kids.
The geology class I teach had an amazing experience. The guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommend !!!!
This was life-altering. The experience was informative, respecting the depth of history with honour and humour. I felt safe to explore and expand my horizons, facing my fears!
It was an amazing experience and would do it again. Make sure you have extra socks and footwear or rent their boots.
Our guide was Alexis, she was very friendly, humorous and knowledgeable. The 2 caves we explored were fantastic. We were given a few different route options in each cave - take the spacious way or the tighter squeeze (shoutout to the “Cheese grater” in the main cave). We were shown phosphorescent calcite and went lights out to experience complete darkness in Riverbend Resurgence. You have to put this on your bucket list folks, check out Canada’s only Cave Slide! We are coming back to hit up the Max Depth Adventure for sure. Would rate higher but only 5 stars are available!
We turned up impromptu and the team was ever so friendly and able to accommodate our group of 5. Our guide (Soca, aka "the one in blue") knew tons of things and made this experience very special for all of us, challenging enough but accessible to all. I did not like the cheese grater but the kids did it!!
I do not do small spaces I do not do heights. I don’t even particularly like people that much and I had all three while my helmet was hitting both its front and back while belly crawling my way through the depths of our earth…if it hadn’t been for the crew that never would have happened. Our guides were environmentally conscious, professional and safe while also making us laugh. Highly recommend.
