A great way to get into the surrounding mountains.

It was a great way to spend the day before catching a red eye to the East Coast. Kevin, our guide, was prompt and filled with information on our trip. We loved the suspension bridge and the observation walkways and decks. We also got to see 2 hawks and talk to the folks handling them. Grouse Mtn was very smokey from the fires. We enjoyed the Lumberjack show but missed the other shows which happened earlier in the day, so a trip earlier in the day would have been better. Kevin drove back through Stanley Park which was a bonus and much appreciated since we hadn't been there. He shared great details of the park.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience, Lisa! We’re so glad the tour was a great way to spend your final day in Vancouver before your flight. It’s wonderful to hear that you enjoyed Capilano Suspension Bridge, the walkways and viewpoints, as well as the hawk encounter at Grouse Mountain. We’re also happy Kevin was able to include a drive through Stanley Park and share some of its history and highlights with you. We appreciate your feedback about the timing of the Grouse Mountain shows as well. Unfortunately, schedules and visibility can sometimes be affected by the time of day and seasonal conditions, but your comments are very helpful. Thank you again for choosing Vancity Tours, and we hope you left Vancouver with some wonderful memories!

Both he Capilano...

Both the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain are must-sees if you visit Vancouver. Enjoyed both sites, but did feel rushed and that my visit to each site could have been a little longer. Kevin was well versed in his monologue during the trip.

Van City Tours picked us...

Van City Tours picked us up just outside the Lobby of our hotel. Erick the tour director introduced himself & welcomed us on board. This was a shuttle van that had only 11 occupants so it was more of a private tour than a large bus. He provided excellent insight to the history of Vancouver with details of our excursion. During our excursion he offered great advice and always with a sense of humor. The tour was fun , exciting and our driver took it to another level. Capilano Suspension Bridge & Grouse Mountain was amazing and I highly recommend this excursion.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your experience with Erick and appreciated the small-group atmosphere of the tour. It’s great to know that Erick’s local knowledge, recommendations, and sense of humor made the day even more memorable. We truly believe that exploring Vancouver in a smaller group creates a more personal and enjoyable experience, and we’re so happy you felt that during your tour. Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain are two incredible highlights of Vancouver, and we’re glad we could be part of your visit. Thank you for choosing Vancity Tours and for recommending us to other travelers. We hope to welcome you back to Vancouver someday!

Kevin is the best!

Kevin was our tour guide and he made it such a positive experience. We got picked up at our hotel and the tour started right away. He gave us great recommendations for places to eat, things to see, and places to do after the tour along with great fun facts about the city. Once we got to our destination, he gave us enough to get us started and then gave us the flexibility to explore on our own. It was fairly busy when we went and feel like we could’ve stayed all day. I went with my husband and it was a great way to see Vancouver.

There’s definitely so much to see that it can feel like you could spend the whole day there! Thank you for choosing Vancity Tours to explore Vancouver with us. We hope to welcome you and your husband back for another adventure someday!

A good experience, but pricey.

To walk across a bridge and through some wooden suspension bridges I found $229 Canadian a lot of money.

Réponse de l'opérateur

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you had a good experience and appreciate the opportunity to clarify what is included in the tour price. The tour includes admission tickets to both Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and Grouse Mountain, along with priority access, hotel pickup and drop-off, comfortable transportation, and an experienced local guide who shares insights about Vancouver, its history, culture, and landmarks throughout the journey. We designed this experience to offer much more than simply visiting the attractions — our goal is to make the day easy, comfortable, and memorable while giving our guests the flexibility to explore both parks at their own pace. We truly appreciate you joining us and hope you left Vancouver with some wonderful memories!

Viator do better in which Tour Operators you select. Disappointed Tour Operator Cancelled due to not enough people. :(

If I see VanCity Tour INC, I will never book with them again. If you have a time slot, you need to provide that service. If you know it’s a time you don’t use, then remove that option from being selected. You called/messaged us to go on the morning tour, but people make an itinerary when they plan big trips as we are on right now and we already had morning plans for each day of our vacation which is the only reason why we selected this time slot. I spoke to Eddie on the phone and advised he would let me know by 10:30am. Since we spoke, I thought he would call. Nope, received an email instead that was sent after 11am that tour cancelled. I even tried calling and messaging via Viator app and no response. Very poor customer service. We were thankful that the tour company right outside Canada Place was able to assist us and that the tickets for both was even cheaper and included free shuttle in their beautiful and comfy motorcoach than what we were probably going to experience with Van City Tours Inc. I guess if the couldn’t fill their van and stuff us all in like a can of sardines then they can decide last minute to cancel tour. I’ve used Viator App for several years and really thought the quality and value to their customers was very good, but having this awful experience while trying to have a wonderful and relaxing vacation…I will probably never use the app again if this is the quality now of selecting these tour operators. Even the tour operators at Canada Place when we bought the experience from them were shocked, but said…oh, they probably couldn’t fill their van up. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly sorry for the disappointment and understand how frustrating changes to travel plans can be, especially during a vacation. Our tours require a minimum number of participants to operate. Unfortunately, on this occasion we were unable to reach that minimum for the afternoon departure, and as soon as this became clear, we contacted you to offer the morning tour as an alternative. We completely understand that this did not fit your schedule, and we respect your decision. We sincerely apologize if our communication did not meet your expectations. Our team did their best to reach you and provide an alternative, and we regret that we were unable to find a solution that worked for your itinerary. We would also like to clarify that tour departures are never canceled simply because a vehicle is not "full." Our decisions are based solely on operational requirements to ensure we can provide the high-quality experience our guests expect. We're glad you were still able to enjoy Vancouver and find an alternative tour. While we're sorry we weren't able to welcome you on this occasion, we genuinely appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve both our communication and our guests' experience. We wish you all the best and hope you enjoy the rest of your travels.
