Description
La vallée de Senagra est l'un des endroits les plus beaux et les moins connus de la région du lac de Côme. Ici, la rivière Senagra coule tantôt placide, tantôt impétueuse. Nous quittons le centre de Menaggio en vous guidant à travers la découverte de ce lieu magique, où les beautés naturalistes se mêlent à des traces historiques curieuses et importantes. Une simple promenade à travers l'ancien hameau de Loveno où nous rencontrerons des ruelles étroites qui s'ouvrent soudainement sur des vues spectaculaires sur le lac et d'importantes villas historiques. En continuant vers le cœur de la vallée, magique et peu fréquenté, nous rencontrerons un pont suspendu et témoignent de l'histoire productive de ce lieu. Une ancienne fabrique de briques, aujourd'hui transformée en musée, et une ancienne fabrique d'aiguilles qui est aujourd'hui un restaurant et une ferme de truites et d'esturgeons, nous attendent. Nous visiterons la ferme en compagnie du propriétaire puis nous nous asseoirons ensemble pour déguster les produits typiques de cette incroyable ferme, en amis ... en famille italienne ...

Amazing experience. See a different part of Como- everything but the lake! We hiked behind Menaggio- saw a beautiful waterfall and ate an amazing lunch at a trout farm. Our tour guide, Daniel, was superb. Just make sure you have comfortable walking shoes.
Beautiful hike. Our guide was knowledgeable about the area. But outrageously overpriced, even counting the lunch.
Loved our hike with Michele. He was a true nature enthusiast and grew up locally. He had great info to share. The hike was perfect and we loved the lunch at a working trout farm.
Such a fun guide, told wonderful stories of growing up in the area. Hike was so peaceful. Once we reached top of town it was pretty much flat and surrounded by trees and the river. The lunch stop was amazing, with such fresh food! Very much worth it for those that want to get away from the touristy areas of Menaggio and try something off the beaten path.
Our walk up the Senagra valley was wonderful. Our guide, Michael, was knowledgeable and friendly, and provided us with a local’s perspective. The history of the valley was fascinating, and the scenery breathtaking. We greatly enjoyed the lunch stop and learning about the trout farm. We highly recommend this tour.
We set off on our walk with our guide Michael. It was a beautiful day and the scenery was spectacular. Michael was a fantastic guide, keeping us entertained and involved with great stories of the history and development of the area. We walked up through the picturesque valley listening to stories of his family and their history in the Lake Como area and how the valley had changed over time to what it is today. Lunch at the fish farm was absolutely delicious and we were able to watch how the farm was managed with the ecological ideals of its founder. It was a truly wonderful day and I recommend it to anyone who loves to walk, learn about an area and enjoys the natural environment.
Genuine conversation, authentic knowledge of local venues and fantastic recommendations of activities, cuisines and outdoor hikes. One of our favorite days filled with beauty, fun and good food! Daniele is awesome!
Daniele was a fantastic guide and provided a very good background/overview of the Valley. He was also very helpful and we enjoyed the tour thoroughly. !
thoroughly enjoyed the tour by Daniele! he was so incredibly cheerful, friendly and knowledgeable. it was a relatively easy walk, with great views and no crowds at all (because we went in Nov which is the low season) - we even did the extra 30mins off road walk to see the waterfall! the tasting at the trout farm was excellent as well! 100% would recommend anyone to go for this tour with Daniele if you're visiting Lake Como, Menaggio!
Such a beautiful tour/hike. Daniele was so much fun and made the whole trip perfect. He was very knowledgeable and could answer any questions asked. We really loved the tasting at the fresh trout farm that we ate at along the way. Such a peaceful walk through the hills with lots of springs and a beautiful waterfall.
