Profitez d'une excursion d'une journée dans trois des destinations les plus emblématiques de la Toscane : Montalcino, où se trouve le célèbre vin Brunello, Pienza, réputée pour son fromage Pecorino, et Montepulciano, connu pour son prestigieux vin Nobile. Traversez le Val d’Orcia, classé au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO, à bord d’un minivan climatisé haut de gamme avec chauffeur Anglais et eau gratuite. Expérience en petit groupe, maximum 8 participants. Veuillez noter que de novembre à avril, et en cas de mauvais temps, le déjeuner aura lieu à l'intérieur. Pour les visites au départ le lundi, le déjeuner est toujours servi dans un restaurant intérieur. 08:30AM: Rencontrez notre chauffeur anglophone et laissez la visite commencer!
09:45AM: Le premier arrêt sera dans une grande cave à Montalcino... La cave appartient à une famille locale et, en discutant avec eux, vous n'aurez pas le sentiment de visiter leur lieu de travail mais leur maison à la place!...Vous saurez tout sur Brunello di Montalcino: les techniques de vigne, le processus de vinification, son vieillissement et, bien sûr, comment l'apprécier en buvant différents millésimes!
11H30: Profitez d'un arrêt rapide de 15 minutes pour profiter du château de Montalcino et de son minuscule centre-ville.
12H15: Arrivé à Pienza, un village papal célèbre pour son fromage Pecorino, vous aurez la chance de profiter d'un déjeuner supérieur dans un ancien couvent du XVe siècle et un peu de temps libre.
2:45PM: Ici, nous serons guidés à travers une cave historique appelée "La ville souterraine" qui est située en bas d'un magasin de vin local. À la sortie de la ville souterraine, vous serez accueilli par une dégustation de vin et d'autres spécialités alimentaires. Avant de partir, nous nous assurerons que vous avez assez de temps pour visiter la place principale, placée sur le sommet de la ville, d'où vous pourrez prendre les dernières photos!

Beautiful scenery, lots of hilly walking, lots of time in 2 wineries & eating lunch. Villages exquisite but too much time on other pleasures

We had a great day. Mike was our driver and very knowledgeable with history and explained many things as we went from town to town. The wineries chosen were great! The guides there were wonderful, took their time to explain everything. We really enjoyed the experience.

We had a great experience! Our driver Sal was friendly, engaging and personable. He gave us lots of interesting facts about the area and was prompt and careful to make sure we knew what was going on. Our only issue was there was a little too much emphasis on the wine tasting and not enough time to see and explore the towns of Pienza and Montepulciano. The drive by Montalcino was no more than a “drive by” to get to the winery. We would suggest a little better balance between the exploring the hill towns and the wineries.
