Cette visite est une excellente option si vous n'avez que peu de temps, comme faire du vélo et que vous voulez connaître et visiter les points forts du parc historique d'Ayutthaya. En seulement 3 heures, nous pédalerons à un rythme facile vers et à travers le parc historique et vous expliquerons l'histoire et l'impact d'Ayutthaya, l'ancienne capitale du Siam.
Nous nous arrêtons au Wat Phra Sri Sanphet qui était le temple le plus important d'Ayutthaya et situé dans l'enceinte du Palais Royal.
Le prochain arrêt est à Wat Mahathat, mieux connu pour sa tête de Bouddha photogénique enlacée dans les racines d'un arbre. C'est l'une des images les plus reconnaissables de Thaïlande et peut être trouvée sur de nombreuses cartes postales et livres de voyage.
Notre premier arrêt est à Pom Phet ou «Diamond Fortress», l'une des seize forteresses le long des murs de la ville d'Ayutthaya. Bien que partiellement détruit, le fort transmet toujours ce qui devait être les premières impressions des anciens voyageurs sur le royaume de Siam.
La visite nous amène ensuite au parc historique d'Ayutthaya de renommée mondiale, inscrit au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO depuis 1991. Ici, nous voyons les ruines des anciens temples.

We had the funnest day with our lovely, social and amazing guide. Turned out we had a private tour today!! We got a cold bottle of water and a helmet and a bike each. The 2 boys (11 and 13) got a cool Mountain bike and i was very thankfull with my city bike. Our guide brought us to beautiful tempels and explained the buddist believes and stories from the walls on the inside of the royal buddist temple, explained the history of Ayutthaya and the input from foreign countries. We got to taste the interesting but lovely sweet local treat and took in the most indescribable, picturesque scenery. The boys were imagining all sorts of adventures stories here. It was intensely hot and we got some umbrellas to walk around with. Our guide was full of energy and passion. Answered every question and took care of us well. Would advise this trip to anyone!
