Cette expérience va au-delà des dates et des repères pour explorer Paris à travers l’histoire vécue, la communauté et la présence. Plutôt que de se concentrer sur un seul récit, la visite relie des histoires africaines, caribéennes, noires américaines et diasporiques à travers les quartiers, montrant comment la vie noire a contribué à façonner la ville de manière visible et subtile. L'expérience permet un espace pour la conversation, la réflexion et le contexte alors que nous voyageons à travers des zones que la plupart des visiteurs ne se connectent jamais en une seule histoire. Depuis les magasins, les restaurants et les points de repère, les clients repartent non seulement informés, mais avec une nouvelle relation à Paris.

Itinéraire
Nous commençons au café littéraire historique Les Deux Magots pour une rencontre et un salut. Vous pourrez déguster un Petit-déjeuner Français léger inclus dans la visite tout en découvrant la place du café dans la vie intellectuelle parisienne et son lien avec les écrivains noirs qui ont vécu et travaillé dans la ville. C'est l'occasion de s'installer, de rencontrer le groupe et de fixer le contexte de la journée à venir.
Nous nous arrêtons à Présence Africaine, une librairie et maison d’édition historique fondée en 1949 qui a joué un rôle central dans la vie intellectuelle africaine et diasporique à Paris. Ici, les invités découvrent son influence sur les écrivains, les penseurs et les mouvements qui ont relié l'Afrique, les Caraïbes et l'Europe, et pourquoi cet espace reste important aujourd'hui.
On s'arrête à l'intérieur de La Rhumerie, maison historique du rhum fondée en 1932 et qui a ses racines dans les Caraïbes Françaises. Ici, vous découvrirez les liens culturels et économiques entre Paris et les Caraïbes.
À Pigalle, nous explorons un quartier autrefois façonné par les artistes noirs, les salles de spectacle et les échanges culturels au début du XXe siècle. Les clients apprennent comment la musique, la vie nocturne et les migrations ont transformé ce quartier et pourquoi il a joué un rôle important dans l'histoire parisienne noire.
Nous nous rendons ensuite à La Goutte d’Or, un quartier dynamique façonné par les communautés africaines. En se promenant dans les rues locales et les zones de marché, les clients vivent la vie quotidienne tout en apprenant comment ce quartier est devenu un centre culturel et commercial à Paris.
Nous terminons dans un restaurant africain, où les clients ont le temps de se détendre, de réfléchir et de partager les moments forts de la journée. Cette dernière étape offre une fin commune à l'expérience.

The tour guide Knight, curated a very informative experience. The tour highlighted contributions of Black intellectuals, performers, writers, activists and restauranteurs and their rich multifaceted legacy. Coming away from the experience, my perspective has been enriched and balanced, since as an African American woman, the stories about Blacks in Paris have been told from a very singular point of view. Highly recommended!!
This was one of the highlights of the entire trip. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and went out his way to interact and answer everyone’s questions. I would recommend this tour to everyone visiting Paris.

Knight is the best tour guide. He’s very informative and patient with the questions. Very knowledgeable and we enjoyed the history and the restaurants. Even though the train line was being repaired, Knight kept us moving with his knowledge of the bus and train systems .

5 stars – Absolutely unforgettable. Our entire group was deeply moved by the Black Paris Tour. This experience opened our minds, hearts, and eyes in such a powerful way. We left feeling emotionally connected, inspired, and far more aware of the deep roots and beautiful presence of Black history and culture in Paris. The tour gave us a meaningful understanding of how Paris has long been a place of refuge, belonging, and beauty for people of color and people from many backgrounds. We did not feel like outsiders looking in — we felt immersed, welcomed, safe, and truly connected to the people, places, and stories around us. This tour is everything it says it is and more. From the history, to the markets, to the shopping, to the amazing food and sweet treats, every part of it was memorable. AfroNomadik Tours & Experiences deserves so much credit for creating something this special, and our guide was exceptional — not only knowledgeable, but deeply passionate and unforgettable. I highly recommend this tour. If you are considering booking, do it. You will leave with a full heart and a whole new appreciation for Paris.
Our knowledgeable, fun, flexible tour guide, Knight, was extraordinary and made the Black presence in Paris come alive! He allowed us to make the tour what we needed for our particular group, since we booked the entire slot, meaning our party was the only party represented. We stopped and shopped when we wanted to, and he still packed a wealth of information into a relatively small window of time.
Knight, our guide, was outstanding - patient, kind and deeply knowledgeable. We had an amazing experience learning about the African American literary icons who frequented the surrounding cafés, as well as the Black historical trailblazers who either visited or called Paris home. What made the tour even more memorable was Knight’s use of historical video footage and vintage photographs from Paris’ past, which truly enhanced the visual experience. This is a must-do tour that fully engages all five senses from beginning to end. Giving him much deserved flowers for the care and excellence Knight brought to our experience.
