Notre expérience commencera par notre rencontre dans notre atelier studio dans un bâtiment patrimonial près de la Tour Galata. Vous aurez un documentaire d'introduction sur le marbre turc - Ebru en anglais (les autres locuteurs de langue peuvent également facilement comprendre). Après cela, la pratique de la marbrerie turque - Ebru commencera avec le célèbre artiste de marbre turc Tüzin Tiryaki. Les techniques fondamentales et l'utilisation des outils traditionnels seront montrées par l'enseignant. Chaque participant commencera à créer les premières pièces sur plateau Ebru. Vers la fin de l'atelier, vos premiers papiers Ebru sécheront. Pendant ce temps, nous vous amènerons sur notre terrasse pour admirer la vue à 360 degrés sur Istanbul; péninsule historique et Bosphore. Vous apprécierez la scène avec du café turc et des délices. A la fin de l’atelier, vous pourrez emporter vos œuvres Ebru avec vous, prendre autant de photos et de vidéos que vous le souhaitez. Et vous aurez un certificat de présence à l'atelier d'art de marbre turc.

This was an incredible hands-on experience to learn more about ebru and come away with a beautiful and unique souvenir. Even if you do not consider yourself to be artistic, you should still check out this class! The lesson starts with a short documentary about the art of ebru and an observation of the class instructor demonstrating different techniques. She will guide you through creating your own piece, using your own colors, and learning more about the process. We were able to make two pieces, including one where she led my husband through a "blind" piece where she gave him instructions. While the pieces dried, we were able to take advantage of the beautiful terrace in the building and see Istanbul from above. Our art was packaged in solid tubes that made for easy transport to take our art home. The entire staff was the epitome of Turkish hospitality - warm, welcoming, and eager to share their experience with us. I would book this activity again in a heartbeat!

I took marbling (Ebru in Turkish) workshop with my friend and it was wonderful! Staff is helpful, instructors are very professional. They offer me free coffee, delight. And I could took my art to home with special tube. Definitely you should try it!
