Description
L'activité guidée d'une demi-journée commence et se termine à votre hôtel. Vous partez après le petit-déjeuner à 10h00 et dirigez-vous vers le nord de Zanzibar pour une journée d'aventure, de sensations fortes et d'émotions. Vous verrez une variété d'épices là où elles sont cultivées, comme la vanille, la cardamome et la muscade. Vous pourrez également assister à des cours de cuisine pour apprendre à préparer un plat traditionnel de Zanzibar. Cela peut inclure la fabrication de riz nature rôti avec du lait de coco, de plantains rôtis pilau (riz épicé), etc. Vous pouvez apprécier les aliments, vous pouvez manger les aliments et vous pouvez vous demander le test des aliments. Après cela, nous vous ramènerons à votre hôtel

The cooking class portion of the spice farm tour was a truly unique and authentic experience, but not for the faint of heart! From sitting on the floor of the “kitchen”, which is essentially a dirt floor , cinder block room without running water or electricity, to cutting up vegetables used in the multi-course meal, to watching “Mama” prepare the meal and waiting for the meal to cook over 3 portable charcoal braziers, we all felt transported in time. But the food was delicious and despite all of our Western food safety concerns, none of us had any issues. If you are adventurous this cooking experience is for you! For the not so food adventurous the spice farm tour was excellent on its own.

The cooking class was super great and the food tasted wonderful. Maria, the cook is a totally warm and personable woman and a wonderful cook. You could help a lot and the tour guide Dida explained everything great. She also speaks super German. The cooking class is highly recommended.
