Ramassage à l'hôtel à 08h00. puis transfert à Pétra par l’autoroute du désert, le trajet sera court avant d’arriver à Pétra. Petra se trouve à environ 135 km d'Aqaba. Il faut donc 2 heures pour atteindre Petra. Une fois arrivés à Petra (vers 10 h 30), les clients peuvent utiliser les toilettes avant le début de la visite pendant que le guide prépare les billets et une courte promenade à cheval; .visit commence à marcher quelques mètres à travers le seul et unique Entree to Petra où les chevaux attendent les clients qui souhaitent avoir un trajet court (inclus dans le prix), puis ils se rassemblent tous à nouveau le long de la (SIQ), long chemin étroit entre deux énormes montagnes rocheuses d'environ 1,2 km de long, sur la route, suivies par le guide. Le premier site impressionnant à être vu est Al-Khazneh (Trésor); c'est l'un des vestiges les plus élégants de l'Antiquité taillé dans le roc solide du flanc de la montagne. Il est près de 140 pieds de haut et 90 pieds de large. Continuez à visiter des centaines de structures sculptées, puis au théâtre romain (7 000 sièges) construit par le Nabatéen, puis visitez les tombeaux royaux, Court, Cardo Str. Qasr Al-Bint (fille du château de Pharaon). Après le déjeuner à Petra, le temps de visiter davantage de sites à Petra avec la possibilité de grimper au monastère, qui est situé à environ 950 marches, puis de se détendre en revenant en sortant de Petra

Great day out picked up from al manara hotel in Aqaba. Had Jordan pass so went for transfers and driver/ guide only option which was considerably cheaper. At Petra had 2 hours with guide then another 1 hour free time. If you want to climb to monastery you will need a different option for more time. Buffet lunch was 15 Jod per person including drinks. The food was good and I thought a fair price. Note that the Jordan pass gets you into Wadi Rum but there is an additional cost for the jeep to get you around. May have been 20 Jod. Our guide Abdulla was courteous informative and efficient. Some of the paperwork in advance of the trip was a bit ambiguous. If you book the transfer only option then that is what you get. Fantastic and memorable day out.

Khaled picked us up from our Aqaba hotel in the morning. He is very kind and a careful driver. We had an amazing visit and guide in Petra before a great lunch and going to Wadi Rum. Our Jeep driver in Wadi Rum, Ali, was also a great guide and we arrived on time for the sunset! We took amazing pictures and made great memories! Thank you!!

We were promptly met by Khaled on the day at our hotel in Aqaba, in a new SUV. Khaled was a great driver and very conscientious and he had packed lots of water for the day. He helped us find our guide at Petra and We did not feel any time pressure at all when we were there - we spent 4 hours at the sight. We were then taken to a lovely lunch place before heading to Wadi Rum. At Wadi Rum we had our own private Jeep which was great as we could move from sight to sight at our own pace. Overall, we had a wonderful day out and would recommend this tour.

I was in a very bad mood this morning, but the moment we met Khalid Badawi he managed to cheer me up. His company is pleasurable and he is very flexible with time and places we wanna go to. He is knowledgeable and well aware of how to take care of people who ride with him. After a beautiful long day we were pretty exhausted and I personally felt like having the best Shawerma in Aqaba. He recommended a place, ordered for us and took us there to pick up the order on our way back to the hotel. Khalid is definitely one of the best tour guides we ever had. I would say we were pretty lucky to have him.

Jakob Dasan was our driver over several days and several long trips. He is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We didn't have money, he lent us some. Please use Google translate. In April 2023, we arrived in the port of AQABA-Jordan on our MSC cruise ship. We are a group of 6 Belgians on a cruise in the Red Sea. MSC's excursions for Jordan were sold out weeks beforehand. Then I go on a google search. Here we found an excursion from Bridge Travel. A day trip including luxury private transport and guide for visit Petra and Wadi Rum. After a few contacts with Mr. Hani from Bridge Travel we booked this tour. The driver picked us up at the ship and Mohamed, the guide, led us all day in perfect English language. I'm gonna take the trip and the ride with 4X4 through the desert here do not describe in detail. But this day was by far the most beautiful of our entire holiday. Definitely worth my recommendation.
