Admission is 2,000 yen, but you can save 800 yen by purchasing a common ticket with "Koji Kinutani: Tenku Art Museum." This time, after the Tenku Art Museum, we visited the observation deck around 7 p.m. I enjoyed the night view for about an hour and went home without having dinner, but I was very satisfied. When I got home, I enjoyed the Boulangerie Gou mentaiko, garlic, and walnut bread I had bought in Osaka at home, which was another good ending. As expected, the night view is spectacular. The aerial garden observation deck, which offers a 360-degree view of the city of Osaka from 173 meters above the ground, moves your heart no matter how many times you visit. The observation facility features an indoor observation floor on the 39th floor, a 360-degree open-air rooftop observation floor, and a see-through escalator from the 35th floor to the 39th floor. Especially on the roof at night, the "Sky Walk" with luminous stones all over the floor shining like a starry sky is fantastic, and it is beautiful to stop.
Great experience very professional staff and made everything go smoothly and fun! Definitely a must if you’re planning a trip to Tokyo.
It was very crowded with international tourists, but I managed to enjoy the view of the evening on the elevator ride course instead of the see-through escalator. It was a bit cloudy, but the view of the city, sea and river in Osaka was very good.
A fun experience although the lines to get on the elevator were very long despite buying tickets online. It took almost 45 mins to get up to the top. Lovely views of Osaka and nice options for food and drinks on the top too.
We enjoyed walking around the Sky Building. The views of the Osaka skyline were amazing from up there.
The Umeda Sky Building impresses from afar with its exceptional architecture. Great views, the glazed escalator offers a great photo motif.
We bought the Osaka Amazing Pass and this attraction was one of the available things to do. The view was quite good but nothing exciting and I wouldn't recommend paying normal fees.
Another Japanese marvel of engineering. Especially when you you see how they built it, there’s videos and pictures when you go in. The views are spectacular from the top and the escalator up to the top level is a bit scary. It’s not that expensive so I recommend a visit.
Amazing view of Osaka! There was a pleasant cafe with a bar and snacks. Stay away from booking this activity through Trip Advisor!! We waited about 30 minutes for the reception to try and search for our reservation despite having provided copies of our booking confirmation. I recommend simply going to the observatory and purchasing a ticket at the reception. They were not able to find our reservation and were nice enough to let us pass to the observatory.
As a first-time traveler to Osaka, I had to visit this observatory. I like visiting observatories in general so coming to Umeda was a no-brainer. As I was heading up to the highest point, my ears hurt due to the height. I like how there was two parts of this venue. You got to see the skyline of Osaka from the inside where it was not cold. Once you go up higher and see the skyline from the outside, I have to say the view was amazing. However, I recommend coming here with a significant other and not by yourself. When I went there, I could not find a "single" person up there so I had to ask someone to take photos of me with the skyline in the backdrop. The next time I come back will be with a significant other for sure!
