Uluru (Ayers Rock) Coucher de soleil + Outback Barbecue Dîner & Star Talk

Well organized trip. Timings perfect. Good BBQ.

Lightning & Thunderstorms cancelled the BBQ part of this tour but the little bit of sunset & snacks provided were outstanding (especially the chutney)

It is well worth it! AAT has great guides and drivers and they are knowledgeable and fun. The tour at Uluru was great and the BBQ and star talk was great. Although we did have cloud cover! We aren’t big coach tour people at all, but this was well worth the day to spend at uluru!

All-you-can-drink wine and all-you-can-eat snacks in front of the changing colors of the sunset! Some staff members are interns from Japan, and they can also assist you in Japanese. In the latter half, at the barbecue under the perfect starry sky, we sat around a table with a newly married Australian and Italian couple, and the barbecue had things like grilled kangaroo meat, which was rare and delicious! Satisfied with my favorite Pavlova for dessert! My son was enjoying the delicious Ramington. After eating, it was only visible as pitch black near Uluru, and we observed the starry sky with all the lights turned off. I was so happy that I could clearly see the Southern Cross and the Milky Way, which I really wanted to see! When I asked how to find the Magellanic Clouds, you told me, but they were close to the horizon and difficult to see with the naked eye. It was the best time, I really enjoyed it!

We had the most magical evening (9/8/26) watching Uluru change colours by the sun setting. That in itself was a glorious experience but then we went right to the base of Uluru for our barbecue dinner, under the stars. The staff were exceptional and the food was delicious. It was so special because there wasn't a large group of people so it felt more quiet and intimate than some of the other tours on offer. The night ended with some stargazing, which Rachel did a wonderful job of explaining to us. The night sky was stunning and this was the best night of our trip. Thanks so much to all involved.

Nothing special,food was average at best,the guide forgot one person and only realised because she wasn’t in the count,it was dark and she fell over,pretty amateur in my book

Nice afternoon/evening to see different areas of Uluru and watch the sunset. The barbecue was really good and the star gazing was good even though the clouds didn’t cooperate.

Really beautiful experience and well organised. Pickup from hotel was easy, good amount of time given at each spot to explore and enjoy, would highly recommend. The astro bbq dinner was enjoyable, the astro guy and host was fun and friendly

Was such a great experience would love to do this again. I went solo and had an amazing time. If you want a one night getaway then I suggest you book this tour.

The tour was great allowing enough time to see and listening to explications. The sunset experience was great and the viewing area great. The BBQ great also and the stargazing comment good One thing to improvise the guide from Japam had a very strong accent and was difficult to endurance d'urine the uluru visit. Fortunately the driver from the bus was providing clarification and was easier to understand.
