Ubud a toujours été connue pour ses destinations culturelles et gastronomiques mais personne n’a réussi à visiter toutes les cascades isolées et populaires en une journée. Si vous êtes vraiment intéressé par les cascades tropicales sereines que la région centre-est de Bali a à vous offrir, cette excursion scannera rapidement votre liste de choses à faire.

De toutes les cascades populaires dispersées à travers Bali, Tukad Cepung semble être la plus vierge et elle est évidemment magnifique. La cascade est gardée par un petit canyon qui prend environ 10 minutes de marche en descendant une série d’escaliers puis patauge à travers des jets d’eau. La région est idéale pour la photographie, particulièrement le matin lorsque le rayon de soleil s'infiltre mystiquement.
Tibumana n’est peut-être pas la cascade la plus grande ni la plus haute de Bali, mais c’est toujours un must si vous ne voulez pas laisser un euphémisme dans votre visite des cascades. La route des palmiers avant le parking offre de nombreuses photos, tandis que la piste qui mène à la cascade - principalement plate et entourée de sentiers colorés dans la jungle - offre une exploration hors du commun aux villages voisins.
Kanto Lampo est un autre joyau caché situé à l'est d'Ubud, connu pour son écoulement d'eau pittoresque sur un tas de roches apparemment empilées. Comparée aux autres cascades de Bali, celle-ci est relativement plus facile d’accès, ce qui ne prend que 5 minutes de marche environ 50 marches jusqu’à l’eau. Vous pouvez nager ou prendre une douche pour vous rafraîchir en prenant des photos.
Il s’agit de la cascade la plus populaire d’Ubud et n’est certainement pas l’une des cascades secrètes ou isolées de Bali, mais elle offre également des avantages en termes d’accès et d’installations faciles. Après avoir franchi l’entrée, vous devrez marcher 5 minutes sur le sentier (environ 100 marches), ce qui est assez facile grâce au sentier bien entretenu. En descendant, vous serez accueillis par un panorama de la vallée verdoyante avant d’atteindre la cascade où vous pourrez nager, prendre des photos et vous amuser à votre guise.
Le palais a été construit par Ida Tjokorda Putu Kandel, roi d'Ubud vers 1820, qui servait initialement de centre gouvernemental. Aujourd'hui, Puri Saren est le dépositaire de l'héritage culturel balinais en art et littérature au profit des artistes et des historiens locaux.

We needed to take a trip to Ubud, and had time between check-in at our hotels. This was a really good way to spend the day! The service booking via. WhatsApp was really easy, and our driver Tara was very lovely 😊 he drove us safely, his English was great, and even stopped somewhere we didn’t initially request, but he recommended based on our interests found out in conversation (my brother is a coffee enthusiast). We had the most amazing time with our tour guide Tara! His English was perfect, he thoroughly explained the history of everything we visited, and he took the most amazing photos of us by the waterfalls! He is very talented! We had so much fun and really enjoyed our day with him. Highly recommend.

Our driver Ngurah was amazing! He allowed us to take a personalised itinerary and was very patient in spending far more time with us than planned on the day. At Lempuyang Temple he advised us about the rooftop photo area (the best part for photos!) and to have breakfast while we wait instead of queuing up which saved a very boring 2 hour wait. His driving was safe and he gave us lots of interesting local knowledge. He also arranged a driver to take us to the port the next day. Can’t recommend this company highly enough! Our trip highlights beside waterfalls were the restaurants and cafes the driver Putu suggested specially the coffee plantation that was on our way, we also learned alot of Balinese culture and religion because of him. We were lucky to have him and i always ask for him for future drives.
