Ce lieu unique et sacré est un lieu incontournable à Ubud. Il y a beaucoup de vie sauvage à l'intérieur de la forêt épaisse. Tirta Empul signifie Printemps saint en balinais. L'enceinte du temple se compose d'un pétirtaan ou d'une structure de bain, célèbre pour son eau de source bénite, où les hindous balinais se rendent pour une purification rituelle. L'étang du temple a une source qui émet régulièrement de l'eau douce, que les hindous balinais considèrent comme sainte ou amritha. This is my first time in Bali and I can assure you Wah made it memorable! He was kind, attentive and accommodating! He went above and beyond. All the activities were fun and Wah gave us so much insight. He did not rush us and was patient. You will not be disappointed!
Our tour guide was Ary who was fantastic, very knowledgeable with great english. The tour itself is a big day in the car, which does impact the overall experience. The locations are okay, not amazing. Saying that, we opted out of the Monkey Forest. The highlight was probably the lunch view. My recommendation would be if you want to explore Ubud to spend a few nights there rather than trying to do it in one day.
My guides name was Adhi and he was amazing. He was really polite well mannered and attentive. The whole trip itself was amazing, but having a very nice tour guide was just a huge bonus. But overall the trip was a excellent value for money.

We had a fabulous day out with Adhi. He was ready and waiting to pick us up and checked that we had had our breakfast before leaving our hotel. He had stocked the car with bottled water for each of us, which was most appreciated and replenished with cold water en route. We visited the Monkey Forest, Bali Swing, a water temple, coffee plantation and a waterfall. We also had lunch overlooking the rice terrace, which was delicious and the view was spectacular. Adhi’s English was excellent and he explained everything really well and answered all my questions. Adhi handled all our admissions to each attraction and was very efficient with drop offs and pick ups making life very easy for us. We appreciated the option of two water temples and we chose to visit the quieter, older and more authentic temple, which was beautiful and calming. I think we managed to beat the crowds in most places. I think the value for money on this day trip was excellent and I would highly recommend it. I think this trip would be best for couples or families with older children.

Our tour with Adhi was fantastic. We went to the Monkey Forest first. There were monkeys everywhere including some babies. Adhi was knowledgeable and patient as we explored and he got some great photos of us. Next we went to this weird place where we waited in line to get photos. It was kind of boring sand incredibly touristy, but honestly, I love the pics and I am glad we went. He took us to a great lunch spot overlooking the rice fields. The food was good and the view was amazing. Then we went to a Temple and did a purification ritual. He recommended one that was not Tirta Empul, as Tirta Empul has been over run with tourists. The one we went to had a mellow vibe which made it much easier to enter into a deeper ritual. Then we went to a coffee growing place. It was fun to see the exotic plants and taste 7 types of tea and 7 types of coffee. This was definitely my 15yr olds favorite thing as she loves plants, but it felt a bit like being taken to a place to buy things to me. Adhi was able to adjust our tour and took us to buy local fruit. The fruit was delicious and a great price. He helped us navigate local vendors. My favorite part of the tour was asking him questions about Bali, his life and culture. He was very knowledgeable, open and kind. Overall a great day and a great introduction to Bali.
