Notre chauffeur et guide expérimenté viendra vous chercher à 6h00 du matin et vous emmènera le long de la route de Lumajang jusqu'à la région de Tumpaksewu. Votre lieu de prise en charge à Malang vous y conduira en environ 3 heures. Une fois arrivés, il nous faudra environ 2 à 3 heures pour marcher jusqu'à la cascade et admirer l'une des plus grandes cascades de l'est de Java. À Java, la cascade de Tumpak Sewu est l'une des attractions touristiques les plus populaires. Il faut souligner que la route n'est pas accessible aux fauteuils roulants.
Préparez vos sandales ou chaussures de randonnée et prenez un maillot de bain pour explorer la cascade de Tumpak Sewu. Nous commençons notre promenade vers la région panoramique une fois que nous atteignons la région de Tumpaksewu afin de profiter de la beauté de Tumpak Sewu d'en haut. Lorsque le ciel est clair, nous pouvons profiter d'une image époustouflante de la cascade avec un arc-en-ciel au-dessus, encadrée par un volcan actif et le mont Semeru, le plus haut sommet de Java. Profitez de la cascade de Tumpak Sewu, qui offre plusieurs séances de photos appréciées avec des arrière-plans divers, du bas d'une centaine de pieds d'escaliers en béton et de rochers. Après avoir pris une tonne de photos, dirigez-vous vers Telaga Biru pour une baignade. Avant la crue éclair massive de 2023, cet étang naturel était renforcé par un mur fait de sacs de sable. Atteignez les magnifiques Goa Tetes par les escaliers en calcaire et l'échelle en acier, un endroit secret que seuls quelques privilégiés connaissent. Prenez le temps de l'explorer à la manière d'une véritable aventure, puis revenez au parking pour le nettoyage.

Nous reviendrons à Malang par le même chemin, mais à une heure différente et avec une nouvelle perspective sur l'après-midi. Sur le chemin du retour vers Malang, arrêt pour déjeuner dans un restaurant local.

We used Landscape Bromo for our day tour to Tumpak Sewu waterfalls. We were met early in the morning by Rizky, our guide, who stayed with us throughout the entire day. Rizky was fantastic — kind, patient and incredibly helpful. The walk down to the waterfalls was challenging at times, but he paced the day perfectly and was always there to offer help when needed. Once we reached the bottom, he took us to all the best viewpoints and made sure we had plenty of opportunities to capture some truly wonderful photos and memories. He also did a great job of balancing the different needs and abilities of the four of us, including our two adult daughters, making sure everyone could enjoy the experience. Rizky was another excellent guide — we had previously enjoyed a fantastic tour of Bromo with Inggrid — and once again, Landscape Bromo’s organisation made everything run smoothly. Another fantastic day and another great experience. We would highly recommend Landscape Bromo to anyone visiting the area.
Our trip to Tumpak Sewu with Landscape Bromo was a dream. I was traveling with my mum (>65y/o) and beforehand we were unsure about the difficulty of the trail. We had a private guide plus driver. The organization and pick-up were very comfortable. Our guide Alfa was everything we could have wished for. He guided us safely all the way down and up again in our own pace, captured our experience with photos/videos and explained everything we wanted to know. We had the best time exploring the waterfalls, indonesian nature and culture. The trail demanded careful concentration at some points but was absolutely doable and actually fun for both of us. The waterfalls were stunning. We would always choose Landscape Bromo again. P.S.: In case you are planning a trip: take into account that you propably will get as wet as in the shower! 😄

Fantastic experience. We were a bit worried about the route down but it was actually fine to do. Our guide Eko was very helpful and patient. What also made that the walk went smoothly. The falls are beautiful and if possible the route to the caves is even more beautiful. We had to walk through the water regularly so water-resistant sandals are a better option than hiking boots. Definitely recommended.

Visiting Tumpak Sewu Waterfalls is a must when you’re in East Java. The waterfall is absolutely amazing. Even from the panorama area at the top, the view is already breathtaking, with waterfalls flowing side by side and surrounded by lush green cliffs from the Kaliglidig River. The walk down is a bit tiring and slippery, but everything was well organized by Landscape Bromo, so the trip still felt safe and enjoyable. Once you reach the bottom, the cool air, the sound of the water, and the natural surroundings make all the effort totally worth it. The experience was even better thanks to the great service from the trip provider. The trip was smooth and comfortable, and the guide was super helpful and friendly. He also knew exactly how to take good photos, so we ended up with a lot of great shots.
