Ces visites en petit groupe vous poussent hors des sentiers battus en tuktuk privé et vous proposent une bière et des sodas à volonté pendant que vous et votre guide parlant anglais regardez la ville passer. Vous mangerez où les habitants mangent dans de petites entreprises familiales et essayez la meilleure nourriture locale dans des endroits que vous ne pouvez pas trouver seuls. Après 3-4 heures, vous finirez au bar local pour essayer du vin de riz ou de la bière avec les habitants!

Il y a un million de raisons pour lesquelles Chengdu est une destination gastronomique internationale. C'est une ville UNESCO de la gastronomie. C'est la cuisine chinoise la plus populaire en Chine. Il a le ratio de restaurants par habitant le plus élevé de toute la Chine. Et en même temps, les visiteurs connaissent très peu la nourriture à Chengdu. Voyagez en tuktuk et rencontrez des endroits que vous ne pourriez jamais trouver par vous-même pour un mélange de cuisine de rue, de restaurants assis et de restaurants familiaux : Chengdu Street Crepes : Cette cuisine de rue locale classique se décline en 4 profils de saveurs : sucrée, salée, épicée et étrange dans un étal de rue transformé en boutique. Wontons à la Sichuan : découvrez pourquoi les habitants les appellent "Chaoshou", dans un restaurant familial où ils sont préparés sur commande. Toutes les nouilles : servies à l'origine dans la rue par des hommes qui transportaient les ingrédients sur des perches de bambou, les nouilles Dandan sont peut-être le plat du colporteur OG. Plats classiques du Sichuan : Goûtez aux spécialités locales comme le Mapo Tofu (il y a aussi beaucoup de plats pas si épicés ici).
Terminez la soirée en dégustant du vin de prune fait maison dans un bar sur le thème des années 70-80 qui capture un tournant unique dans l'histoire de la Chine. Le bar est à 10 minutes à pied de la station de métro la plus proche.

We had the most incredible food tour with our guide Fiona! This was our third food tour with this company having previously gone on a tour in Beijing and Xi’an and we have loved it each time! This tour was even more amazing due to our guide. Fiona was so kind and friendly! Throughout the night we would check in on us to make sure we were enjoying our night or needed another drink. She was so fun to talk to and honestly felt like a friend we’ve known for a long time. The best food tours company I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing in each location!

Great tour with authentic food throughout and a Monica was a great guide. We did the full day Panda visit, fly restaurant, tea house, and evening food tour. Having a guide take us around the Panda research center was necessary because the center is huge and if you don't speak Chinese, knowing where to go and which route to take saves times and ensure you see the highlights. The fly restaurant and the tea house where authentic local places that we wouldn't have found on our own. The evening food tour was made quite fun with the tuk tuk and the food variety and flavor was excellent.

Fiona went above and beyond to educate us, accommodate everyone’s needs, asked the right questions to make sure we were cared for perfectly. She even stayed overtime to teach us maj, give us advice on travel, educated us on Chinese culture, helped us order at the bar even though the tour ended, and ensured we had a safe ride home. She treated us like family. We learned so much from this tour and got experiences we wouldn’t have otherwise.

We had a fabulous tour with Iris our guide. Secret local destinations which we wouldn't have found otherwise. Plenty of food and unlimited drinks. Generous with any choice of beers. Included Baijiu and plum wine. Would definitely recommend
