Offre spéciale pour petits groupes (min.5 participants) ... et si vous ajoutez une excursion dans l'arrière-pays de la côte slovène, à la découverte de tous les secrets de la truffe, une excellente compagnie ... la journée ne peut pas être meilleure. Nous vous invitons dans la forêt, en compagnie d'un chasseur de truffes et du chien, pour découvrir tous les secrets des truffes, et aussi les cueillir. Après la chasse, nous dégusterons les truffes (pâtes typiques d'Istrie "fuži" aux truffes *) ... en bonne compagnie. * Astuce: après un plat de dégustation de truffes, vous pourrez vous régaler d'un bon repas accompagné de vin local et transformer la journée en une expérience spéciale (boissons et nourriture supplémentaire non comprises)

Avec le chasseur et le chien, nous marcherons dans la forêt et chercherons des truffes. Nous apprendrons les secrets de la chasse à la truffe. Nous apprécierons les saveurs exceptionnelles de la truffe.

We went on this tour from “lifetime experiences” company which is run by Sarah and her dad annd their golden retriever dog. Unfortunately Sarah wasn’t available so another guide named Samo and his dog Bruno stood in. No big deal but no one told us the truffle season ( when there are actually truffles in the soil ) is from mid - late oct Thru dec. So we were taken to a locals side yard property walked about 5 minutes to a small trees area of their property. What we didn’t know was that the day before the guide had planted old truffles in the ground for the dog to find. And only after I called him out on it did he admit he planted them. I was really sad. I really thought we would be hiking deep into the woods looking for actual growing truffles. The tour only took one hour and we paid $150 each. Not to mention the time and effort to drive there. He dropped us off at the nearby restaurant where we were served pasta with truffles and a glass of wine. Which was worth about $60 if you had to pay ourselves. . So the truffle “staged hunt” we paid $240. Plus as a kindness we tipped Samo $50. I feel we got ripped off. This is the first time I have ever left a complaint on any site and I’m sure Sarah her dad and samo are nice people but in all honesty it was very expensive for what we did and I would like a refund. Advise to others if your thinking of truffle hunting ask the tour person more questions about it.
Dear (stranger) I wasn't surprised by your review, the only problem is that you attached it to the wrong provider. What you are describing is not our service. The price is not the same, and above all, we do not take our guests to the restaurant for this experience. I understand you were disappointed, which certainly would not have happened if you were really our guest - but you weren't. Or maybe you are just a representative of competing providers who are (unsuccessfully) trying to copy our service. I invite you to visit us and you will see a huge difference. Jerneja
A wonderful experience. It was so interesting to watch Lily (the dog) work and find truffles. The lovely meal and conversation was a great way to be immersed in the culture of the area.

The "Truffle hunting tour" was an eventful evening for us, where in addition to the actual truffle hunting, nice conversations, local wines and appetizers from the region could be enjoyed. We liked the evening very much, when we go back on holiday in the region we will repeat the tour.
