Qu'est-ce qui rend mon aventure de chasse à la truffe unique? C'est une vraie chasse à la truffe, pas juste une démonstration. Vous ferez l'expérience de la chasse à la truffe authentique dans la forêt avec des chiens dressés. Nous gardons également nos groupes restreints — un maximum de 10 personnes — pour assurer une expérience plus personnelle, intime et authentique. La truffe est un champignon souterrain inhabituel. Il existe deux variétés importantes de truffes : la truffe blanche (Tuber Magnatum) et la truffe noire (Tuber Melanosporum). Ces deux espèces se trouvent dans la forêt de Motovun située dans la vallée de la rivière Mirna. Même si on trouve des truffes ailleurs, les truffes Motovun sont considérées comme de la plus haute qualité.

Fun experience watching our guide work with his dogs to find truffles. The dogs found a white truffle and were so excited. Lunch on the patio in the town of Motovun was delicious. Such a unique experience.
The hunting took over an hour longer than advertised which threw off our other planned activities. The original overview of the activity included "sample local truffles and wines with a celebratory tasting" which did not occur.
It was a wonderful experience to accompany Mihael and his dogs on a truffle hunt. The subsequent lunch from Mihael's mother was phenomenal and we couldn't stop raving about it!
Such a fantastic experience! I loved spending time with the dogs and watching them hunt for truffles — finding them in the forest was such a highlight and gave me a whole new appreciation for what goes into getting them onto the plate. The forest walk was beautiful, we learnt a lot about the history of the area, and lunch afterwards was absolutely delicious — simple, authentic home cooking that really showcased the truffles. A really memorable experience and one of the highlights of our trip.
Joining the truffle hunting tour with Mihael this morning was hands down the happiest activity of my entire Croatia trip Mihael is incredibly knowledgeable, and it’s wonderful to see his passion for helping people truly understand the truffle industry. His three dogs are absolute stars, not only are they cute, but they are also exceptionally skilled. Watching them in action was a joy for everyone in the group. In just one morning, they managed to find 4 black truffles and even a small white truffle The itinerary and timing were perfectly paced. Finishing around lunchtime leaves your afternoon completely open to enjoy a nice meal and explore the lovely town of Motovun (which is a fantastic place to discover) or head to your next destination. I truly hope more people join this tour so it gets the recognition it deserves. If you are visiting Croatia, do not miss this incredible experience
Lovely experience learning about Truffle Hunting. We learned about black and white truffles and how the dogs are trained to find the truffles. Dogs were a lot of fun, watching them look for the truffles. Enjoyable experience.
Nice hike through the woods to learn about truffles and use of dogs for finding them. Don't miss the lunch at Mikael's home.It was fabulous, and the best meal we had in Croatia!
Fantastic experience! The guide was smart, fun, entertaining but serious enough. The dogs were lovely. Very important that it was a true adventure in the forest, not like many other companies offer. The cost was just right, and the hunting was worth the money. It was about 2 hours, probably a little longer. None of us got tired or bored.
