Trek guidé à Laguna Esmeralda avec déjeuner
Description
Découvrez le secret paradisiaque caché dans les montagnes de Tierra del Fuego: le trekking Laguna Esmeralda. Vous aimez la nature et la montagne ? Alors cette randonnée est faite pour vous. Vous allez prendre l'une des plus belles photos de Tierra del Fuego. Nous viendrons vous chercher à votre hôtel et nous parcourrons 16 kilomètres en véhicule le long de la route nationale n° 3 jusqu'au début du chemin. L'aventure commence! Au total, 9 kilomètres (aller-retour) vous attendent en parcourant la forêt : vallées glaciaires, élevages de castors, tourbières et la magie fuégienne qui vous accompagne tout au long du parcours. Cette marche est considérée comme de difficulté moyenne, et ne présente pas de dénivelé important.

Nous ferons un arrêt technique à Valle de Lobos où le guide nous montrera (si nécessaire) la bonne utilisation et la préparation du matériel de sécurité comme les crampons.
En route vers la Laguna Esmeralda, un arrêt au Mirador del Valle Carbajal vous invite à faire une pause et à contempler l'un des paysages les plus impressionnants de la Terre de Feu. De ce point de vue panoramique, se déploie une vaste vallée d'origine glaciaire, recouverte de tourbières, traversée de rivières sinueuses et entourée par l'imposante chaîne de montagnes de la Terre de Feu. C'est l'endroit idéal pour prendre des photos, respirer de l'air frais et se connecter à la nature dans sa forme la plus pure. Par temps clair, le contraste des couleurs et l'immensité du paysage font de cette halte un moment inoubliable de l'excursion.
L'arrivée à la Laguna Esmeralda est le point culminant de la randonnée, où la nature se déploie dans toute sa splendeur. Ses eaux d'un vert intense, alimentées par la fonte du glacier Ojo del Albino, contrastent avec les montagnes, les forêts et les tourbières environnantes. Le paysage est serein et majestueux, idéal pour se reposer, prendre des photos et profiter d'un moment unique au cœur des montagnes de la Terre de Feu. C'est un lieu qui invite à la déconnexion, à apprécier le silence et à emporter un souvenir inoubliable de la fin du monde.

When I read the description of this tour, I thought that I would have no problems because all that was indicated was: Not recommended for travelers with back problems, No heart problems or other serious medical conditions, Not recommended for pregnant travelers, Most people can participate, and if you come with inappropriate attire, you will be refused. I complied with all those, and even if I use a walking cane to support my balance, I can still do treks. We even hurried the night before to a gear rental shop to rent proper hiking boots. Unfortunately, when the guide saw my condition on the day of the tour, we were denied participation and I was really sad this happened but I understand that they are just concerned for my safety. They offered a full refund but I did not want the day to go to waste (aside from the boots rental fee which went to waste already) and so they transferred us to the afternoon tour, the Classic 4 x 4 drive to the lakes of Ushuaia and it was a wonderful and enjoyable tour. So fair enough and all's well that ends well.

Ours was about a 90 minute hike each way. It was colder and more wind as we got close to lake. We put on gloves at the lake. Plan on layering and keep clothing change in backpack. Stocking caps never taken off and pulled down over ears for a few sections of hike. Rent boots as the shoes you wear will get muddy and wet! Stretches of hike are over muddy/boggy areas & streams. Part of the trek is up hill over rocky terrain. It is a gorgeous hike with mtn & pastoral vistas. Couple stores in Ushuaia rent the hike boots. Only disappointment was when we got back to meeting point parking lot after the hike had to wait an hour for van pickup. Gascon, our guide, apologized and said should not have happened. Gascon nice and friendly but did not provide much info on the areas we were hiking through. If that is of interest read up before you go.

Our guide Antonela was great and very experienced. She responded very well to the different needs in the group and seemed very competent and professional. Good clothing, good hiking boots and medium fitness are required.

We did Laguna Esmeralda with Fernanda, 4x4 excursion to the lakes with Guille, City tour with Ariel. Excellent guides. They fulfilled everything promised and more.
