Description
Après avoir été pris en charge à votre hébergement à Varsovie par un chauffeur professionnel avec une voiture à distance, vous vous dirigerez vers Treblinka, le plus grand camp nazi de toute l'Europe. Le camp est à seulement une heure et demie de route de Varsovie, et une fois arrivé, votre visite guidée commencera. Pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, près de 2 millions de personnes ont été tuées à Treblinka et Auschwitz-Birkenau, un camp de concentration plus petit situé à l'extérieur de Cracovie. Treblinka est un endroit très impressionnant et touchant en ce qui concerne l'histoire, dont vous apprendrez tout au long de votre visite ici. Dans la partie centrale du champ plein de pierres, vous découvrirez le célèbre monument incontournable des "Victimes de l'Holocauste". Au cours de votre voyage, vous verrez également la pierre «Never Again», qui est dédiée à la commémoration de Janusz Korczak. We had an excellent guide (Jorge) and driver (Richard). Our guide had a deep knowledge of the place and the whole story in detail. The van was very comfortable and spacious. We are witnessing the memory of a sad chapter in the history of humanity, which must be visited. We cannot erase history, but we have a duty not to repeat it.

Great tour guide, Matjek. He was very well versed in the history of of the war and the camps. He brought his iPad which had a lot of historical images relevant to what he explained. We spent some time in Warsaw before Treblinka and learned about the Oneg Shabbat group and the transportations to Treblinka. Highly recommend our tour guide.
This was the most luxurious of our excursions on our school trip, and also one of the most moving and informative. Our guide, Olaf, was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable, and he provided us with a context for what we experienced that went way beyond the details of Treblinka itself. Through his stories, we got some real insight into the modern Polish perspective and how it had been shaped by centuries of history.
Spectacular lesser known area and history lesson that deserves to be remembered. Guide gave great insight about during and after the war. Would go again.
