Itinéraire

40 min

The Best Food Tour We Took in Rome

I had an amazing experience on the Secret Tours food walking tour in Rome! From start to finish, it was the perfect combination of delicious food, fascinating history, and great company. Our guide, Rocio, was absolutely fantastic: friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. She kept the conversation flowing effortlessly, made everyone feel welcome, and shared so many interesting stories about Rome's history, culture, and incredible food scene. You could tell she was passionate about what she does, and that made the experience even more enjoyable. The food stops were excellent, and I loved learning about the traditions behind each dish while exploring different parts of the city. The tour was well-paced, fun, and a great way to experience Rome beyond the typical tourist attractions. If you're visiting Rome and want a memorable experience filled with great food, interesting history, and an outstanding guide, I highly recommend Rocio at Secret Tours. What more could you ask for?

Rome food tour

Had Robbie as a tour guide in Rome! He did an amazing job, with over 10 years of experience and living in the city for almost 20 he is SO knowledgeable about the history, food and has a vast list of recommendations for whatever your needs are! Highly recommend. Doing the 1800 tour was the perfect timing to beat the hot summer weather.

Excellent way to see and eat parts of Rome

Had a party of six for the tour. We had a great time. The small size of the group (8 total) was awesome. Our guide, Robbie, balanced the walking, talking and food stops wonderfully. Would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Rome.

Discovering Trastevere’s Hidden Treasures

A great experience with a wonderful and entertaining guide, Rocio. Rocio was very knowledgeable and shared interesting information and history during the walking food tour and let us sample tasty local foods. By the end of the tour we had eaten enough not to need any dinner. I would highly recommend this activity, especially with Rocio as a guide. The walk which about 2 - 3 hours was easy, requiring just navigating the cobblestones as the greatest challenge.

Walking Food Tour

We had an absolutely outstanding experience on this walking food tour. From beginning to end, it exceeded every expectation. The food was exceptional, with each stop offering something unique and delicious, but what truly made this tour unforgettable was our guide, Giada. Her knowledge of the city’s history, culture, and culinary traditions was incredible. Every stop came with fascinating stories and local insights that made us appreciate not just the food, but the people and neighborhoods behind it. She were warm, engaging, funny, and made everyone in the group feel welcome. This wasn’t just a food tour—it was an authentic cultural experience. We discovered places we never would have found on our own and left with a much deeper appreciation for the city and its incredible cuisine. If you’re looking for a tour that’s informative, delicious, and genuinely memorable, don’t hesitate to book this one. We would recommend it without hesitation to anyone visiting. Thank you, Giada for making today one of the highlights of our trip!

Tastes of Trastevere, a food adventure awaits

This was our second Secret Foods Tour, with the first one being in Paris. And for sure, this Trastevere tour did not disappoint. Robbie, our guide, has been living in Tome and knew many of the ins and outs on history and the local food scene. Trastevere has many restaurants and eateries to choose from and we certainly hit the high notes on this tour. From marinated Roman artichosetved with rocket and mozzarella, to Enzo’s stuffed zucchini leaves battered a d fried, amazing Suppli, hrough cacio e Pepe, and rigatoni all'Amatriciana, authentic slow roasted porchetta and a whipped cream in a brioche and finally, some excellent gelato. We explored and experienced authentic Roman foods that were fresh and very flavorful. If you’re seeking to digest Rome in a fun and exciting way, this gastronomy tour is well worth your time and money. From our experience, these tours can sell out quickly. What could be better than eating your way through one of Rome’s oldest neighborhoods?
