Great. No whatsapp communication, but went smoothly without. Very reasonable. Border crossing was easy.
Decent bus good driver ! As a company you need to give better details on collecting your wristband for tge bus from the shop in the port a lot of people confused at tge port through booking online and missing buses Your meeting point should be more detailed too Tbh it was a problem because it makes travel more fun but for some people who are catching flights its probably not that x
It delayed the departure and consequently the arrival, but the sympathy and attention of the guatemalan driver overcame any problems that, anyway, were even considered common.
The shuttle bus was fine but the border crossing is very slow. The bus was air conditioned and not over crowded compared to local buses.
I need to check in at Atlanta express at Belize water taxi. The bus was late like 1 hour but it’s South America. They stopped for break and ATM which is nice!
They did a good job getting everybody where they were going. The bus made multiple stops for places of interest.
Purely connect the city of Belize to the city of Flores in Guatemala by bus, the boarding information is accurate, the car is air-cooled, there is a stop in the middle of the road, great!
The gentleman where the check in is quite rude, just screams and as he speaks English of the Indian it is difficult to understand the friendly Belizean driver, the Guatemalan much better, too many stops to drop off and/or pick up people along the way what makes the trip tedious
This was a very long bus ride across Belize and Guatemala with stops along the way to pick up/drop off people. The bus has A/C with a seat for 2 on the left side and a single seat on the right side. First ones on get to pick the best seats. There’s an aisle between but a seat folds down to maximize seating so the bus can get really packed. This sucks for tall people with long legs. Avoid the seat in the row over the rear wheel well - less leg room. No bathroom stops. The only bathroom is at the border control on the Belize side, which is a 1 BZE dollar coin operated turn stile. BZE charges a $20 USD exit tax. When entering BZE for the first time you need to fill out a Visa Form.
We booked this service to get to Flores from Belize city. The directions on the meeting point and departure time were clear. We left on time (indeed, maybe a little early) in a hurry and running to keep up with the escort. The journey to the Guatemalan border runs smoothly. Once we reach the border, they let us out of the bus and tell us that we would find their correspondent once we crossed the border on foot. They gave us absolutely no indication of what we should do but we still passed. That's where the trouble starts. Following other travelers in the same group, we find the correspondent waiting for us. Immediately it is clear to us that there will be confusion because some of the group were headed to Flores, others to Tikal. After asking us for a reservation and destination, and seeing that the two escorts continued to argue about who should get on or not, they let us get on another bus that left half an hour late. After a few meters, the driver goes back and tells us that the group headed to Flores had to get off. Once we get off, we are told that we must wait for other travelers to fill the vehicle. After almost two hours, we finally leave for Flores. We arrive about 3 hours late. The journey in all took almost 8 hours, not because of traffic or obstacles on the road but only because of the disorganization of the company. Fortunately there was an English lady who with her British humor made the experience less unpleasant.
